  • "grew arrogant" so true!

God Bless Governor Bill Richardson and all politician like him.

  • Big? Your ass!!! Pinche ratero transero. Good thing New Mexico is almost done with him.

  • Este guey es mas culon que las gallinas que tengo.

  • Is anybody here going to miss dick cheney noooo!!!

  • New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson abandoned his nomination to become commerce secretary under pressure of a grand jury investigation into a state contract awarded to his political donors

    typical democrat

  • SOUNDS LIKE A TYPICAL REPUBLICAN>

  • what about Milorad "Rod" R. Blagojevich?

  • Really? Name the recent Republicans. I can think of Foley and possibly DeLay.

Here are some recent corrupt democrats:

    Geithner

    Richardson

    Daschle

    Richardson

    Blagojevich

  • I wish he was the nominee. The Dems need a centrist like him, not a far left guy like Obama. Oh well at least he's on the cabinet

  • He is good speaker. He hit on the nail. I won't miss Dick Chaney. He makes me want to cry because I think that this wa the orginal ideals of president. Honor our American consitution, respect other we do not, protect Americans not only profitting companies, most to believe in the people and never give up hope.

  • Well, actually, yes, McCain was thinking for himself. He just saw the writing on the wall - that in order to achieve what he wanted, both for his country and for himself, he would have to compromise on some of his stated principles, and as a result he made some pretty questionable choices. McCain could never be called much of a follower to anything save his own ambition. (Of course, the same accusation might be made of Obama, were his particular pill not so easy to swallow.) Whatever, man.

  • He would have been the perfect running mate for Obama but I'm not sure if America is ready for a black President with a Hispanic VP (or a woman VP with Hillary). That being said, Obama needed to pick a white male. Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana, I think, would have been a more interesting choice over Biden

  • He said; "And we are going to have a president who pays atention on Latin American and Mexico"

  • can anyone write me down wat he was saying in spanish plz

  • he should keep that beard he looks better with it

  • This is my Governor. We love Bill Richardson and are glad he did not win the primary, that would mean we would lose him. Great Speech!!!

  • Great speech, Bill!

  • Truly interesting!!! Excellent orator!

    5*****

    Gaby.

  • (hours later) : Richardson ROCKS. Best speech of the whole convention, except Obama's own.

Obama was better tonight than FDR, and only slightly less polished than Churchill. These have been the greatest speeches of my lifetime, and that includes JFK and MLK (both of whom I am old enough to remember).

Richardson will become a major player in Barry's admin, mark my words.

  • Richardson was my first choice he has the most experience not to mention the most diverse experience of anyone who has run for President. I am hoping that he will be Obama's Secretary of State Not to mention a decent man.

  • I definitely agree wuth you. Richardson was my first pick and I'm hoping he'll play a prominant role WHEN not IF Obama is elected.

  • He is now Secretary of Commerce. SoS is going to Hillary.

  • The point about lose nuclear materials is a really important one, ignored among the staggering list of stupid decisions by Bush was removing the funding from the program to secure ex-Soviet nuclear materials and scientists. Gore is actually an expert in this area, so crucial to US safety, but soundly ignored by the corporate media.

  • I love Bill Richardson. I hope he has a prominent position in the Obama administration.

  • I've heard it all before - MADONNA

  • Bill Richardson is a decent man and an awesome orator.

  • He's a good, uncorrupted, man.

  • I am so proud I worked on this man's presidential campaign. A great man, a great thinker. Go Bill!

  • theinternationalfeel: This was MY choice for President, also, and as an ex-Republican, I'm proud to have worked for his campaign. A four-time nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize, he's likely to be our next Secretary of State. I'm glad Obama didn't choose him for VP, because he can do some really great things for American diplomacy, and engender a new admiration and respect for America abroad. Thanks for the chance to read your comment: I'm not alone!

  • A very powerful speech
