  • Mos Def = massive racist. As black people, we shouldn't glorify hating on whitey, that shit ain't right dawgs.

  • He sounds juuuust like malcolm x!

  • if they made a new malcom x movie, mos def would be most suitable to play malcolm.

  • @MISCHIEFAGAIN no i would

  • im white but i dont care we are humans peace to all black poeple arabic etc we are humans

  • YOU SYMBOLIZE HOPE

  • amazing and truthful speech, love it

  • Comment removed

  • the REAL Enemy is the People that call themselves Jewish that Run New York and Over there in that State called state of israel

  • wow this is some racist stuff..

  • No its not, it's the truth...Reality...Non Fiction..

  • @dinigi When you claim such literature to be "racist", you are exposing a deep and hidden insecurity that characterizes how someone different from you is outspoken on such an "elephant-in-the-living-room-like" topic. Assuming you are a white person, try and empathize with being a colored person pre-1970; picture being labeled second class, unwanted, invisible, un-American. Picture all of this through the eyes of an African-American. He is talking about solidarity, not racism against whites.

  • hi how are you.. ı made for malcolmx video .. pls watch my video

  • I met Malcolm''s daughter , his autobiography i consider the african-american bible and his movie i saw entirely 3 times. However, i m in an interracial relationship and I still know I m african american. I m reminded of this everyday in the United states of america. I made videos on intolerance on you tube - how to laugh at racism.

  • He took the life out of this speech.

    What in the world.

  • "As much as racism bleeds America today, the real problem is classism" -- Immortal Technique

I realize Malcolm X wrote for a different time. But sometimes people forget that. Black Power was not, and is not a solution. No racial power is. In our modern society, people are based less on color, and more on money. You're only a nigger if you're poor and black. You're only white trash or a cracker if you're poor and white. Fight for socio-econmic equality, not for racial power.

  • @DeathByBurning Of course it's not, any more than White Power. The whole Black power, black is beautiful thing was simply a reaction to centuries of negative conditioning imposed by a racist society. Exactly the way positive thinkers are encouraged to boost themselves when they've been put down all their lives: they don't merely say "I'm OK." They say, "I'm great, I'm magnificent, I'm beyond beautiful." Whites have you thinking you're helpless, you can't do anything? No. You're powerful.

  • @DeathByBurning the best way to achieve that equality is through the uplift of ones own community and self through agency over the resources . defy the government and it's laws and regulations that prevent the poor from beginning their own business& hire folk. we need to burn up that welfare check and buckle down our family structure. we can't have young black women running around with 7-12 children chasing down some child support check. she needs to go to school and he needs to follow her.

  • wow, you guys are fucked. theres a difference between MLK and X. rascism exists foremost on your MIND

  • There WAS a revolution which didn't involve bloodshed: the German revolution in 1933.

The common enemy is the Jew. Whites are slaves -- not former slaves but slaves today. We are second class citizens. WE endure everything.

  • @GottfriedFeder Poor white people, you guys have it soooo bad I weep for your plight every night.

  • R.I.P. Howard Zinn

  • why do americans always have to applaud shit before its over. never heard of quiet contemplation?

  • I love you Malcolm X from Saudi Arabia

  • "The future belongs to those who prepare for it today " - Malcolm X

  • Great quote ... I see why Mos Def likes it

  • @BelowPondScum the blackman is the original man of this earth we can live under the sun it gives us strength, the whiteman get SUNBURN and CANCER of the SKIN.

  • @isbeatz that´s bullshit haha, typical american propaganda shit

  • @behinddacurtain lol ur an idiot man! u dont even propaganda means. so dont use it in ur vocabulary.

  • @BelowPondScum eat shit and die slow

  • @BelowPondScum FUCK YOUR MOTHER CRACKER ASS MOTHERFUCKER, GO FUCK YOUR SISTER U RACIST PIECE OF SHIT IT´S BECAUSE OF YOU WHY PEOPLE THINK THAT WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACIST, U FAGGOT MOTHERFUCKER, RACIST COCKSUCKER

  • @behinddacurtain stop being homophobic n hatefull

  • @BelowPondScum i think u sound like a worthless jungle ape as you have no idea about malcolm. get over were all human , apart from u when u talk shit like that

  • Honestly I don't like M.X for what he was doing before he went to Mecca. I appreciate it though, speakin what's in your mind is your right. And I try to understand how many black people grow up with that type of hate in their heart. I'm white, believe it or not,I had to fight against racism too, against other people of MY skin, who hated me for being a foreigner.

But Malcolm X finally realized, Mandela, Martin Luther King and even I realized, that peace & equality can't be enforced with hate.

  • @splifferdelthathug That was real fam ,Peace!

  • I think this speech was justified at it's time and it was appropriate because despite the nonviolent movement black people were getting slaughtered. And white people did hate black people, the ones in the south anyways and that is why they were giving them hard time. I think all this was from a ignorant standpoint on the white people, who the fuck told them to enslave people of a darker complexion and then to take pride on it.

  • i understand what malcom x was saying...that was a time where white people hated blacks and did a lot of bad shit to them for no fucking reason......but he should have said in years to come blacks will be violent to everybody (niggers in ghettosin present day) and that blacks are societys enemy and that blacks as a whole ruined every major urban area with crime, drug prositution ya its not all of them but the bad ones are all people tend to see

  • Mos Def needs to do audio books.

  • This is before Malcom X became a true muslim, not nation of Islam

  • @drunpakhtun

u do know that 'true muslims' have black slaves?

  • @ImmortalHardOn get off our religion, Islam this, Islam that, that is oppression too, I'm not going to explain my Book to you in a Youtube comment

  • The evolution of his thought will always amaze me. Here's what he said after he came back from Mecca:

"I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the systems of exploitation. I believe that there will be that kind of clash, but I don’t think that it will be based upon the color of the skin."

"I wish nothing but freedom, justice and equality, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people."

  • it amazes me that white without fail, always go back to when the Brotha came back from Mecca. It's like before then he didn't exist. He did exist before then and he saw you for what you were. A evil, hateful people that remain to be to this very second. Yes, you grin with Black people but we all know when your at home we are butt of your jokes. Just let them niggas dancing and sing a catch balls as long as they keep their Black asses away from me. Don't believe it..let one date your child.

  • @screwface1011 TRUTH!

  • His words are relavant today as they were then. Great reading mos def.

  • so malcolm wanted equality?if so he went about it very wrong as it got him killed and made hatred nothing more

  • @troy861

and we need more like him, for these devils

  • @troy861 And what got King killed? I'm sure you've thought of this.

  • in response to negapos..... if you listen to the original speach given by Malcom X himself, many people are laughing. In fact, Malcom indeed often made a satire of the absurdity of his situation. Many of the black people in his crowds laughed with the absurdity of that situation when it was put into words by X. dont hate.

  • The early pilgrims were religious and against slavery, indentured servants came and they were poor whites, sometimes children whose families couldn't afford to care for them and hoped they would learn a trade, skills while getting food and shelter. Slavery is about profit, not race. Slave traders came later with the hungry opportunistic colonists, not the religious ones. And the slave trade was jewish enterprise.

  • Imma clear up any confusion in as little words as possible. White folks can NOT understand this country from a BLACK PERSPECTIVE. Being black in this country is a LIFETIME experience, believe it or not, white folks have more ACESS to fair treatment even though they may not realize it. Im not a racist, nor believe in any form of it, I'm a humanitarian even if I am not treated fully as a human.

  • Comment removed

  • @MindzStimulated That's because black people created the image of being thugs and too many of them try to defend that image or give it an excuse instead of seperating themselves from it and because of that people are afraid to deal with them

  • i can see malcolms soul in mos when he talks , its beautiful

  • Mos:

set the sharks in motion big brother

'member when you met my band and I when you where in NY with Dave C when he was nowhere to be found?

  • funny as hell good job mos def

  • For those on this post who think Malcolm X was a racist, consider this: X's ideological heirs, most definitely, were the Black Panthers, a revolutionary group which -- despite their name -- were anything but racist: the Black Panthers were about antagonizing oppression wherever and by whomever it was being meted out. Had he lived, Malcolm would have evolved, as he had throughout his life.

Anyone who is a true revolutionary -- who loves humanity -- cannot but mourn his loss.

  • @bapyou is afraid of ideas that contradict his dogma. He’ll attack you then block you from responding. In part this is because of the quasi-religious character of leftism; everything contrary to leftists’ beliefs represents Sin. Wherever leftism is in a position of power it tends to invade every private corner and force every thought into a leftist mold.

  • @bapyou tell that to the new Black panter party preaching kill white babies! your going to see more bloodshed than ever befrore, not to mention all black rappers would be kicked off the air and record lables would not support you!

    keep preaching hate retards!

Wait till whites start standing up preaching blacks are animals again! would you like that or doyou all want war?!

  • @AnimationBooks "tell that to the new Black panter party preaching kill white babies!"

I don't have to tell them: Bobby Seale -- who along with Huey Newton founded the original Black Panthers -- has publicly stated that the so-called "New Black Panthers" are a joke, and they do not in any way represent the ideals of the original Black Panthers. You can find Seale discussing this right here on YouTube; just look for it.

So stick your white fear back in the closet where it belongs.

  • @bapyou White fear? Theirs no such thing as white fear!

its black peoples respect thats on the line, not to mention these new black panthers are going to create their own peoples genocide again.....

It should be the intelligent blacks stepping up and stoping this white hate bullshit, not whites!

  • @AnimationBooks

Re-read my previous comment. I don't think you understood it, or perhaps, like most frightened idiot conservative white people, you are incapable of understanding anything.

Your heroes are people like George W. Bush: a moron who couldn't even be bothered to speak proper English. In light of this, what could I expect from you except understanding on the level of a moron?

  • MOS DEF the rapper and activist... the BEST!

  • @RUNDnL you have a brain and you use it...I salute you fellow human being. This goes out to all Lil Wayne and 50 cent fans....you fail in life, you need to listen to people like Mos def and Talib Kweli

  • @EnfantdAlgerie you deserve title of knight for saying that! NAILED IT

  • Let’s not forget about the WHITE woman... she’s our enemy too. In fact, she’s an even bigger ENEMY than the white man since it is she who gives BIRTH to white boys... and we all know the old, true and wise saying - “You are your MOTHER’S child.” Her sons grow up to commit horrendous crimes against our people. The WHITE woman is far from innocent. She was happy to be present when our brothers and sisters were being lynched, in most cases she was the CAUSE of the lynching.

  • @KickWhitesOutAfrica right. nature will slay evil tho.

  • @KickWhitesOutAfrica fucking racist fag

  • @KickWhitesOutAfrica Odd logic. For one thing, people also say "You are your father's child" too, you know. Secondly, there is always a cycle involved with influence and causation. Think the chicken and the egg -- what came first? A racist white woman was most likely raised by racist parents. (Parents plural -- I'm still not going to jump on your "mothers are wholely responsible for who their kids become" assumption).

And what about the fact that white women have been oppressed by white men?

  • So much truth in those word even todayl. Wild, isn't it?

    One,

    - Brother Chimaobi

  • look at all the hurt white people...harness that emotion. i did. how does it feel? sucks, rite?

now try feeling that every day of you life. try having that feeling pounded into you by the media, and the upper class. imagine being told youre inferior, not only by everyday people, but by intellectuals and those you hold in high regard.

maybe then you can get a minuscule taste of what it's like to be a minority in this country.

  • GREAT

  • Well done Brotha.

For or @ the confused comment below about slaves and so called whinning...

No one is whinning when they recite poetry or speaches dealing with the truth...if it hurts you then try to ease the victims pain first before beggin sympathy for the perpetrators.

Research this: so called white folks were slaves first before so called blacks were. "they were white and they were slaves"

    Peace.

  • always whining.never grateful for how far you came.whining like a liberal

tell you what! why don't all you haters live in the dark, and throw away your computers.

after all,it was the white man that you hate so much who invented all of this....and soooo much more! another thing,my great, great grandfather DIED for your freedom.think of that if you can

also ask yourself who sold the black man to the white man-learn your history;go back a little more in time be4 HOW the white man owned a slave.

  • @inmylife10465 Actually, the personal computer isn't an exclusively "white" invention. Dr. Mark Dean, a black man, holds 3 of the 9 patents for the PC. Troublesome little fact right there, ain't it?

Anyway, I think it's illogical to hate white people and fulminate against the complex modern world. And you're right, it is not only "the white man" at the source of slavery, et. al.

I'd be interested to know more about your great-granddad

  • my middle name? lol

  • the glorious revolution in england was carried out without bloodshed

  • I Self Lord And Master

  • I can wrote a novel on how much Malcom X was preaching the TRUTH. Mos Def is a real man..

  • Ha! As of July 30th the FBI has released through the Freedom of Act, that Howard Zinn was a card carrying communist, attending the Soviet funded CPUSA meetings. Funny, he complains about America because he hates capitalism but goes to CPUSA meetings funded by Moscow as Stalin was murdering, starving, and locking up more of his own citizens than Hitler did in WWII. Way to go Zinn! You will forever go down in history as the debunked communist propagandist who trashed America to prop up socialism.

  • marry me mos.

  • soooowooo..!

  • How could it get any better!!! Two of my favorite Black Conciousness Leaders coming together. And even know Malcolm isnt here people like Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and other Black conciousness rappers and leaders keep him alive.

  • I am white. It shouldn't matter, but it does. If I get a job, no one asks if it was affirmative action or my skill set, even if I got the job because of someone I know from a group affiliation. No one makes me defend my life, my person, my beliefs, my color. If not me.....why anyone? White people are not inherently evil. I don't know if Malcolm X believed that or not.....but our actions are and they continue to be, to this very day.

  • @JRM733

what he expresses is the obvious differentiation that is made between people of color and those who call themselves "white". The only reason why so-called affirmative action was created was not to give peope of color a "step ahead" as some people may see it. The reason for its existence was to close the gap of disparity which never closed, because we do not live in a colorblind society. We continue to live in a society where a certain color is privileged.

  • @NOGAMES714 I think affirmative action was a good plan, but I think that people were sold a bill of goods when it was passed. I can't help but to note the correlation. It was passed in 1965 for race, religion and national origin. In 1968, gender was added. "Since 1964, the U.S. crime rate has increased by as much as 350%". " As of 2006, a record 7 million people were behind bars, on probation or on parole, of which 2.2 million were incarcerated."

  • @NOGAMES714 "In a study conducted by the Rand Corporation, it has been estimated that Blacks and Latinos received longer sentences and spent more time in jail than their white counterparts who were convicted of similar crimes and with similar criminal records. One particular example revealed the state of California statistically imposed sentences that averaged 6.5 months longer for Hispanics, and 1.5 months longer for Blacks when compared to white inmates."

  • @NOGAMES714 General population

U.S. incarceration rates by race, June 30, 2006:

    Whites: 409 per 100,000

    Latinos: 1,038 per 100,000

    Blacks: 2,468 per 100,000

Blacks/African Americans are only 12.84% of the population. Something is clearly wrong. My point is just that there are many ways of getting around something as vague as "affirmative action" which is why we still haven't seen the evening out of the racial and economic classes that is so long overdue.

  • @JRM733 its the biased justice system the system that was made to hold back blacks. Its about to fall homie get ready for the shit to hit the fan

  • @JRM733 Well then, you are my Brother, and I say peace to you and your descendents, forever. Hotep..

  • @josephortizgarcia I am honored. All blessings of peace and well-being to you and to yours as well.

  • @JRM733 This is beautifull, But please remember that as hard as it is to understand for other humans, You just have to fell sorry for the Brainwashed white who actially had masters!!? But like some hunting dugs the master didnt chain them or made them work as black people did in the farms, No their masters teach them to hait, and kill and be abusive. No matter what the masters always get richer and they have all the time to sit and plan how to brainwash society. Come together and fitht evil

  • @Ebdan88 There is some truth in this although I am hesitant to let people off as having been "brain-washed". We all know deep inside us, the difference between right and wrong. At the risk of making people angry, the group that concerns me currently is the Tea Party in the US. People should be paying more attention to what they are doing. This is a primarily white organization, (by choice apparently). In my opinion, the only thing missing is the sheets.

  • @JRM733 No more Brother!! Now that even the whites are understanding that all that they did to the blacks are done to them too, is the best time for humanity to come together. If you have ever forgive anyone THIS IS THE TIME to do so!! Now that you know that Cia was illuminati brits child. Now that you know that your leaders give ther legences to forren powers than America and Americans is the time to come together and fight evil. Dont do that and let EVIL WIN THIS WAR!!?

  • @Ebdan88 I agree completely that it cannot be about hate, but it has to be about awareness. I feel no hatred, but even now people have been elected office under false pretenses. Forgiveness is all powerful, but first it must be asked for, earned. I don't hate anyone, but we are all held accountable for our actions.

  • @Ebdan88 For example, In Texas (US) the school board is literally rewriting American history. After days of fighting and thanks to the media leaking the story, these people finally settled on using the term "trans-Atlantic slave trade" in high school history books. They wanted "The Atlantic triangular trade" to refer to slavery.

While that MAY work when teaching WORLD history, in America there was the slave trade. Calling it anything else is just frosting on a bad cake.

  • @JRM733 Who is doing this to you!!? I come from IRAN. They have destroyed so much of our history that you can not even Imagen!! Did you know that Poland was Part of Persia!? Still today we call poland for Lahistaan!!

India WAS Persia, when they found Persian kings in egypt, they destroyed them or made lays about them!! We know, that is why for us it has been very important to teach our children our history.EVIL is the same! it has different faces, but its the same!!

  • @Ebdan88 It's amazing how similar the struggles are across the world. In this case, the people doing this to us, is our own Governmental representatives. Trying to figure out their motives at times is enough to make my head explode. In the end, it's about money, power and control. You mentioned that you are from Iran. How do you feel about the protests going on there? From what little I've seen, it's not good.

  • @JRM733 Someone asked me the other day how much of the INTERNET i ment were hunest!!

My answer to him was. Well you know very well where Komayni come from, He was a illuminati agent sent to IRAN to start the war that SHAH said no too!! Now listen and watch the internet. How much of it tell people the throuth about IRAN? his answer was next to nothing!! There you go!! that is how hunest Internet is, and that is the revolution they want to build their tomarrow on!!?

  • @JRM733 :0). What is not promoted, near the end of his life...after his journey to Mecca. Malcolm went the way of MLK. He wanted to empower poor disenfranchised white people. Bring them into the fold for rights with persons of color. That was the mortal danger to the establishment as much as it is today. Poor whites and persons of color can NEVER be allowed to gather in solidarity - - - the whole structure of this country would fall. The ultra wealthy vs. the rest of us.

  • @Rhondi8 Exactly! And he was right, it must happen exactly like that., in solidarity! We can no longer endure a forced "permanent poverty class" regardless of race or ethnicity. The "threat to the establishment" of an empowered group of disciplined, motivated and forward-thinking persons, is not a "threat". It is the PROMISE that a wave of real and POWERFUL change will come one way or another.

  • @JRM733 you should keep studying Malcolm X said, later in his life after his Muslim pilgrimage not all white people are evil..I have met some pretty evil black folk...let me tell you...

  • @LOOKIHERE99 Agreed....I believe anyone is capable of evil, but the "evil" that I'm speaking of is more public policy than one-on-one racism. How a numerically-dominant race addresses leveling the field for all it's people reflects its truest nature. If genuine racial equality mattered in the US policies of inequity would have been addressed long ago.

  • @LOOKIHERE99 The injustices in the "justice" system are well documented and yet continue with little more than casual mention of meaningless statistics. The problem (as I see it ) is that there is an expectation of "forgive and forget" and yet to this day there has been no apology. With no valid apology or plan to rebuild communities, "forgiveness" is simply approval to continue a behavior without fear of consequence. Hand outs are not the answer, but applicable hand ups are long over due.

  • @JRM733 Very well put, you're right the handouts have only crippled us, its created generations of poverty well have generations of families on welfare and food stamps, there is a quote i remember by Harriet Tubman she stated in regards to her rescueing more slaves she cld have rescued many more if only they new they were slaves, and the truth still applies today if only they knew they were slaves!

  • @royalcoils100 Thanks. I hadn't heard the H. Tubman quote. I don't disagree with programs that actually WORK. I just don't think there are enough of them. I'm on disability now but before it happened I begged my employer to work with me. With MINOR accommodations I'd still be working. Instead, I'm dependent on a check that makes me sick to cash. Clearly something is wrong with the system. For starters, why don't we teach critical thinking skills in schools instead of just memorizing?

  • @JRM733 read malcolms autobiography he changed my life , he believed in unity of humanity against oppression, n injustice. peace n love

  • Why on earth are there people laughing in the background?

  • well why the hell do white folks watch malcolm x speeches, yall mofos are not opressed, get over it

  • Rest in Peace Uncle Malcolm! It's funny how it's called reverse racism, when we say to them the very same things they say to us. They call it reverse racism, but when we accuse them of being racist, they deny this claim at every turn. If it's reverse racism, this means first & foremost racism had to first be coming from your direction in order for it to be pointed back in your direction. Not all, but who gets upset, I'm talkin' to you!

  • WTF...what a load of bullshit! Do you seriously believe this reverse-racist tripe?!? Seriously, you were brought here on slave ships??? I challenge any single one of you fuckers to show me proof that YOU came here on slave ships! As long as people keep bringing this shit up, racism will NEVER go away. Drop the "blame the white man" shit and take some responsibility for yourselves, your brothers & sisters, and your community. Fucking pathetic.

  • @armydoc115 Not all Black people were brought here. There were African, Latino and Middle Eastern (who themselves consider black) people here before Columbus.

  • Millions of Africans have refuted what "Malcolm X" and "Mos Def" say.

America passed a point some time in the 1990's (the lib media and lib academia are uninterested) where more Africans had immigrated to America than were brought to America by Arab and European slavers.

  • When commenting on the death of JFK Malcolm X, (an advocate of segregation), said that the presidents death was a case of "chickens coming home to roost". You want to see black leadership? Read Setting the Record Straight: American History in Black & White by David Barton. Only then you will realize why marxists like Zinn premote Malcolm X over these American patriots.

  • we need more people like Malcolm X to stand up and say whats true but not stand up for just blacks thinking that all white people are evil stand up for the people all people that want the same thing you and every other person does and thats to be free and be happy for happiness and freedom should not be some thing any person should have to preesue for they are our right as peopple and we all need to stand up as one as people we need to stop grouping people and see we are the same

  • Mos lmaoo in the italian job this nigga wanted a library with the money they got LMAOO thats class man!!!

  • @GoRla89 Gee I think that was a movie. You know make believe.

    Look up Negroid in Metapedia

    By the Honorable Brother Jujubebabomothafuck

  • lollzzz

  • Malcolm X-mas... May 19, 2010

    All Power 2 da People

  • All Power 2 da People

  • One of my favorite speeches by a wonderful man...Malcolm

  • @muhammad282 he is so versatile and intelegent unlikely for some to open and expand their minds we must let others challenge us in life so we learn to think more freely.

He is a true artist and multi talented speeking the things others prefere to let pass .May he continue to be blessed.

    tania x

  • Mos Def is an interesting character, versatile, and deep.

  • Enough respect to Brother Mos Def.

He's so talented for his poetry.

Brother Mos Def is a gifted rapper and actor.

Defintely he's spot-on that Brother Malcolm is the greatest leader of all-time.

  • Offcourse he is mainstream, this dude knows that he can reach alot of peeps in thay way, if he's like all the other bull shit rappers? def not..

  • I am loving most def! That's real dude!!!

  • ahjust cant seem to find a prince who knows his way around a womans body

  • It's funny to me when people who don't know what they're talking about try to preach. Listen to Mos Def's music. His style is mainstream, but his message is deep. What he says is a derivative of what Malcolm X and so many other people from the CRM preach. Just written/targeted for youths in a way that they can relate

  • What is CRM?

  • @bigmanjtw, @bfess

Er...I don't believe that Mos Def is mainstream at all. Far from it. If talent could sell records, Mos Def would be a billionaire. But he strives for art and the people he believes in. Apparently that just doesn't sell.

  • when malcom left the nation his eyes have been open to the truth that all men is flaw & that all men can be brothers. That malcom could've helped change the world

  • Um I think you have Mos-def confused with Lil Wayne.

All mos-def has done for his entire career is to live what he says.

He is a perfect example of not selling out, & choosing intelligent paths to create his destiny.

Malcolm was no entertainer, but he would have embraced Mos with open arms & respected him for following the path that he was responsible for opening.

More need to do the same.

  • I think you are confused and have got the definition of hypocrite wrong... I also think you don't know what a violent agitator means because if you did you would not call the man, who called for peace, a violent agitator. You are remembering the former part of his life, what makes a person is his latter part and what he dies preaching!

  • RIP Howard Zinn

  • @me4monty

Its not that he didn't practice, he is not a very a good speaker, he stutters, and mumbles, I do that. And people think I don't know what I am saying even though I have read , and am confident. But he sounds real good to me.

  • This continues a racist cycle. He denounces racism against black people while inciting racist ideology toward white people by saying "our common enemy is the white man.." Then he suggests that white Americans inheret guilt.

  • @kza7

Incorrect. By "Our common enemy" he meant "US". All of us. The European concept of color itself is our common enemy! One country one race. This was his ideology!

  • He changed that ideology. Check your history. People can be forgiven.

  • He changed that ideology after traveling to Mecca and seeing that his own true religion was shared by people of many races and they worshiped together in unity. Check your history.

  • @uagreenie Too right

  • @uagreenie

Yes, that's true but just because he changed his belief does not automatically make that ideology false, in cases of oppression violence must be employed by the oppressed to ensure equality. To this day every country sheds blood in their defense. Why is the death of Iraqis and American soldiers in revolt against the Hussein regime any more noble or justifiable than if the black population were to fight against the imposed will of the whites?

  • @uagreenie he changed the racism direction but he still continued saying that you should be able to protect your self if someone attacks you. Which is correct ideology

  • @uagreenie i deleted my history

  • In 1964, this speech was a speech to power; the white men in power. An assumption of domination over others. Those of "us" who do not also stand up to what is wrong between human beings, collude with what is wrong. Wrong. Wrong. In 2010, it is still wrong. Violence between human beings is wrong.

  • As a White-American from Alabama, I look back on history (especially from my own state) and you see shocking acts of Evil.

But it is a different time now, Americans weather they black, white, Latino, Native -American, are coming together. We are one people, we just have different skin pigmentation.

  • @zacub,

Is it really a different time now? The last names of the victims of US wars back then were Cong, now the last names of the victims are Ahmed and Muhammad, has there really been a change? Admitted, more people are now against war, there were huge protests against Iraq War even before it began, whereas in 60's in the first several years dissenters like Noam Chomsky could barely find a few people to listen to him about the Vietnam war. Other than that, have the US policies changed?

  • @zacub I'm a Black Englishman of African/Jamaican parentage. Well said brother :-)

  • thanks

  • @zacub
