I am slightly disappointed that no one ordered it, if I had such money I would buy it in a heart beat. Some people buy houses that expensive. Someone should talk Richard Branson into buying it so there will be one more out there.

17000 horsepower guys ... sexy or not ... it sucks several thousand liters of diesel per hour. marina spots are fine at 120 ft butl it is so complex to handle and can really ony run in good weather ... it was an exercise to see if it could be done .. they tried to get to 70 knots ... but they only managed just above 60 .. so it is really a very expensive design failure ... I met Luca Bassani and I know why he does it .. he wants only to try new things, which must be admired.

Gas Turbines run great on diesel. Most jet aircraft burn kerosene grade of fuel called Jet A which is a specially formulated for high altitude and other requirements. They are both similar petroleum distillate products. Gas Turbines can also run on other low octane fuels like bio oils.

The noise from the turbines is just too much, i can imagine the face of the owner that has his friends on the yacht and the noise of the turbines, like they are on a military boat.
That's the big minus of the boat that it's purpose is a pleasure.
But it's a perfection in design and in interiors, the hull is similar to a Americas Cup yachts, very nice.
But turbine noise is a great spoiler of the pleasure.

Quite good looking, but a little vulgar. I guess that was in the design spec for such an expensive boat.
Impressive, but unrealistic. I'd rather have a Wally sail boat and go around the world as I please.
