  • ROFL this whole time i thought it was a REAL police-car in a garage or something... then i saw the keyboard and was like "wait thats not right" nice model...

  • @complex0ifi0cation ..lol thanks

  • nice man. your bringing the current desighn up to world of diecast right?

  • thnx, and yes it will be either or both of the new designs on a charger and a ford.

  • Very nice touch to add. 5 stars

  • thanks. be nice if I could do the entire Dallas PD stripe in reflective.would be awesome.

  • Now that would be awesome, i would defiantly buy that.

  • Im working on it trust me...only thing would be the words and the star/shield upi toward front.

  • Cool My fraind has been makeing these reflective vinyl for awile and they look neat. This looks Great good job.

  • thnx, does he have vidsof his work?

  • No He Doesent. He Sent Me Pics. Of His Decals. Would You Like Me To Send Them To You

  • can u put them on yur channel as a back?

  • Yeah

  • Way to take the decals to the next level!

  • thnx

  • awesome work =)

    i love those "classic" markings

  • thnx

  • very cool i was wondering how one could make them like the real decals with the reflection

  • thnx, yes by usingthe reflective vinyl thats used on real cars just cut down to 1/18 scale. Ithought about doing NYPD in reflective blue stripes and cut out letters. the NYPD part would be reflective as well but the smaller words would not be.

  • That would be pretty neat.

  • thnx

  • Looks great!! I have been looking for decals of the old style for a long time. Did you make them yourself?

  • yes..I actully cut the reflective vinyl at my friends sign shop. I copied stripe from my water slides...... chimneyville amde the 1/24th scale in this design. let me know if ya need a set to copy off of will need resized tho.

  • That would be great! Let me know if you want to do some trading or how much you need. I will get with you tomorrow. Thanks Sam! Frank(98vetman)

  • (Regarding trim ring wheel effect) Depends if the end result would be overkill (like some who are a little overenthusiastic whilst adding lights). Looking good so far!

  • thnx...the real cars did have some withthe trim rings, i think thi one is just fine too.

  • looks pretty sweet I guess they were pretty popular back then.

  • yes...seemed like every director had to change the striping. once this one grew on people they changed it.....lol

  • I was wondering what the old decal looked like lol. Thanks for Posting!

  • no prob...and thnx. also look in the friendly sites on Shawns page..go to illinois..it has a few pictured.
