  • seems like someone works for the oil companies

  • lets arrange the ressident in New York, if they work at manhattin then they should live in manhattin, if they work at Flushing, they should live in flushing, so here is a solution people should live next to their work place so they don't have to travel long distance to get to their work place or they would flood the Subway system, flood the road and highway with traffic and flood the Buses with lots of people.

  • Get ride of all city parking permits(Teachers, PD, FD, Doctors and ALL CITY AGENCY). Note if these employees have a hardtime parking like all NYC citizens do they would use mass transit too. Trains would be safer w/more cops riding them free of charge(off duty). We also need residential parking too.

  • That $500 million will line the pockets of certain politicians. Records could be faked and they'll say they've made improvements.

Prices of food and merchandise will raise because suppliers will inflate their prices claiming that thr truck drivers would have to pay more thanks to this congestion pricing. Tourists and common folks would see how high prices are and shop elsewhere. New York in the long run would lose millions thanks to a great decrease in sales. Nice going, hippies!

  • this video isn't convincing and is boring.

come up with a better argument.

  • however...the $500 million granted to the city and the money made from those willing to pay the tax will go to making nyc transit a whole lot better. more busses and trains will run due to less cars on the streets and more people in public transportation. Think of the environment. The pollution would decrease so much more.

  • How can anyone think this massive tax proposal that would only take an estimated 1.4% of cars off the streets, according to PlaNYC itself, is worth the massive $2,000 annual fee that will be imposed on those who legitimately choose the lesser of two evils to commute into Manhattan by car? Looting the workers in Manhattan and residents outside Manhattan of $30 billion of their money by 2030 is not going to solve the problem either.

Stop it today by visiting Stop NYC Congestion Tax . org!

  • Motorists habits will not change unless there is an economic incetive to do so. Congestion pricing only begins to level a very UN-level transportation playing field.

  • If we pass congestion pricing, we get $ 500,000,000 back from the Federal Government to fund new buses and subway improvements to fight this congestion.

Call your NYS legislator and tell him to vote YES to the $ 500,000.000 to help de-congest NYC !!!
