if thats a 5k?? then they're really slow!! i mean in 8th grade i was runnin 3.1 in 21:40's. i've never ran an 8k so i couldnt tell ya if thats about the right time.. but still a 25?? what?? anyway looks like they did their bestdoesnt matter how fast they are they did good. =)

i believe it is 8k. most college races are, especially ones like the regionals and all those types of meets.

you can look at the times, and those 25 min or whatever indicate that it was likely 8k

i just started cross country last year when i was in 8th for jr . hi and before the race would start i would be so nervous then the gun would go off and everyone would be screaming and cheering and we be like a giant crowd the first qaurter to half mile then we would seperate out , but now i am in varsity and it is alot harder cause 3.1 miles instead of 1.5 or 2 miles
