Sure, they can keep fighting, it's just that life would become better for them if they would direct their energies to advancing themselves in other ways. At some point you have to ask yourself how much it is worth it to you. I agree with the spirit of your question. But what is the practical thing for Palestinians to do in this stage of the conflict? As we speak Hamas is being extirpated. Peaceful assimilation might be a better option. What would you suggest the Palestinians do?
