@jiangouke Not quite. We are on the same side as the USA but there was also USSR. All allied forces worked together to have defeated Japan and won the WWII.

@jiangouke When A-bombs were deployed, the invading japs were basically defeated and besieged by our heroic CHINESE soldiers, their surrender was foreseeable and imminent.  The A-bombs might have ended the war faster, but it's our CHINESE heroes and heroines who saved our Country. The blood they shed is still warm and the lives they lost are still living, we love them, we respect them, their spirit will live forever !!!

@hanamayhong No, you got it all wrong. Chinese people are parents and CCP are sons of people. Chairman May said in 1949; and CCP are there for people, for China. By look of it they have been doing very good job so far for Chinese and for China.

@AugustFirst1927 Yes, of course, I am a 中国人 Chinese. But, I have a real problem to accept that "千秋万代 感恩不尽 中国人民是共产党的孙子 共产党是爹 ... 只有共产党才可以拯救国民于水火", as you said. Maybe you have benefited and enjoyed the ruling by Mao, but, for me, I am fortunate that my parents had brought me to Taiwan in 1949 .... I think we, both are Chinese, however, can still can disagree with each other on the political system in China.

@yliang1688 You have been misunderstood the relation between China, People and the party. Chairman Mao clarified many times before: Chinese Communist Party is the son of Chinese people. China + Chinese are always bigger than the party, any party as Chairman Mao pointed out. CCP has been successful because they represent people and for the people. I admire what you concluded that all Chinese may disagree with something but brothers are always brothers. Tolerance is the key.
