ok listen to his song hallelujah that he did for his free concert here in collingwood I'd like to hear what you think because his voice was amazing............
i call singing NOT trying to hit a high note that is unreachable for you.... it was... alrite.. but when he went for that note it TOTALLY screwed himself over... it looked like his head was gunna fall off his head he was screaming.. plus he never really found the note he slide into note but couldnt sustain it for long enough and in the end... it was death for my eardrums...
i think there is a whole lot of talent amongst this years idol contestants, especially the men.
but wow, drew has definitely taken an early lead in my mind. so much so, as that this year, for the first time, i voted. numerous times i might add. i'm excited to see the outcome. go drew!!
I thought that both Oliver's and Drew's performances were quite good and entertaining. They've demonstrated higher level of singing talent, power and skills in different mode By far, in my opinion, better than from the first group of Top 24 performances. My 19 year old daughter, normally doesn't watch the show, stopped in front of TV when she heard Oliver singing said Oliver's performance was very entertaining, cute and endearing. She liked the way he sang very much.
I loved Drew's performance!!! I loved his solo auditions, group auditions. I think he's by far the best singer I've heard on Cdn Idol EVER, and I hope that Canada will vote for him. This is the first season I've spent the entire two hours voting for anyone, and you can bet it was Drew. This performer brings new meaning to talent!!!! And those eyes!!!!
Does it seem to anyone else that on the Idol "Top 22 or 24" shows, the contestants are actually competing to be the lowest vote-getters? I mean, don't you already have WAY more than two that you'd like to strike out, and only twelve of them have sung!
=D he looks like Charlie from LOST ... =D

drew sounded like he was at a kareoke bar. he brought nothing unique to the song. I could only hear Queen singing it.
