For instance if you're talking to someone shortly after or even during a hit, your voice WILL change, it's hard to explain, i dont know the medical reason but the rush up the back of your throaght will change your voice and keep it that way for about an hour.

Damn I really miss Layne-even more than Kurt Cobain.---Tho I never knew Layne-I think this is probably one of the most self reflective songs he ever penned? Just sad-he was a true tortured poet. @555julianfairbanks sure hes written some bad songs, every artist will and has. But 90% of AIC songs were written by jerry and most of those 90% still get radio airtime probably about every couple hours of so in each state after being written about 15 years ago. The only artists in the pop,hip hop, and rap (commercial genres) to accomplish that are Michael Jackson, m&m, and snoop dog. and their music wasn't rely good they just starred in a shitload of movies or got in a shitload of law suits.
