That is just a shell, its not the real car. Trampoline cannot handle the full weight, it would just snap completely and the car wouldn't even bounce back.

Evidently the various spins, twists and 'freeze frames' the car does in the ad were post production, but as they said at the time, they definitely did drop the car onto the trampoline.

Im not sure your right there, it seems they had to do a lot of takes, but they did get it right.

The fake look would probably come from the marking up of the car in the editing (air brushing)
