Everyone talks too much about what ND did last year going 3-9. Granted it was a bad season, but the talent was thin as far as upper classman. So many starters last year were soph and freshman. If Weis keeps recruiting top classes like hes been doing it wont be long before we can hang with the USC and Florida caliber programs. Wood picked ND over USC for the education not the pay check. Not that they need another RB.

Because at USC he is a elite RB amongst elite RBs, they need him at FS because their corners and safeties have been liabilities and the weakest part of that team. ND needs and wants him at RB and Weis is just as good of talent evaluator as the Poodle.

Nobody is intimidated by USC anymore, ND is getting equal talent to USC, ND is a very very talened young team. They might not win this year, but look out for next year. USCs players on offense havent lived up to the hype other than Joe McKnight. The defense is stacked though. Anyways, Cierre is a beast. #1 prospect overall IMO, better than Matt Barkley. Cierre is a once in a lifetime talent, Barkley is not.
