  • Hi, Thanks for this great lesson, where can I find part two? When you add lyrics what is you process, can you post a video on this?

  • this is goooood stuff

  • wow her beauty is mesmerizing, i could barely pay attention to what she was saying, luckily i did hehehe

  • Fittng the words to the song is called "phrasing".

I had an opportunity to meet John Ford Coley in Nashville.

He co-wrote Sumerbreeze, "Really love to see you tonight" as part of England Dan and John Ford Coley.

I asked him about that and he said just trust yourself and that it takes alot of work and practice.

Not much but it may help.

  • whoa! i think it's a good video =D

  • Thank you very much! Multiplatinum album, here I come!

  • hahaha it could happen you never know good luck to ya man

  • HERE IS MY PERSONAL PROCESS........... drink beer or a bottle of wine, then pick up a guitar...............doesnt matter if electric or acoustic......6 or 12 string..........then strum and see what words come out, and write the words down on something........napkin, match book or note book paper...............GO FOR IT

  • great tips! Thanks

  • This is a very good guide, thanks a lot! ^_^

  • I've got around 100 lyrics.

But my problem is that I dont really know how to mix the lyrics with the song.

I just dont know how to "sing" the lyrics into the song.

Anyone has any advice or anything?

    Thankz.

  • Ring up Simon Cowell

  • you should see if you need a hapy sound or a sad one and thjis will changed chords and harmony.....

also tension and distension is very important when choosing a chord. if you can learn some theory and harmony it will help a lot.

  • i think that writing a songs is a following the instinct so if you go after formularity you wont be uniqate...but good anyway

  • This is a cool method although I can write like this, I put music first. My writing has to start with a melody then I add lyrics. However most of the time I get a demo with everything in my head. Bass, vocals, drums, keys and even lyrics. Don't know how to explain it but that's how I have written most of my tunes, they just come to me and I can't force it.

  • excellent!

  • ive been lookin 4 song writing techniques thx

  • this is really good thanks

  • 1st view lol?

  • How is that funny?
