There is a great deal that could be improved in the Senate bill and a lot of good stuff too. But the Public Option part is the one part that guarantees that cost could be controlled. If your employer offers insurance and you get sick, they can still raise your rates. All insurance co charge about the same, so unless that cost is over 12% of your net income, your screwed.  Can you afford $2400 a year on a 20K salary?

Even the Dean of Harvard's medical school is against this Bill. This Bill is not good for America, and; it is not good for any of us.

Please do not listen to either party's talking points, Do not listen to some reporter,friend, or anyone. Why is AARP on the bandwagon? Why are commercials hitting us from both sides?

How many of these trillion dollar 2,000 plus page last minute Bills full of typewritten legalese shoved down our throat with no real extensive debate- can we afford?
