everybody asking how to get that volume envelop here is how

first on the step sequencer , with your kicks hatz and whatnot , you click on that sound...whatever it is , and when u click it opens up that lil menu , channel setting thing. then if you look at that lil menu at the top left it has pitch knob volume so on. right click on the one u want , go to edit events , then the piano roll pops up go to the top left of that go to edit - turn into automation clip done :)

Possibilities in FL: none. Other then a few flangers, echo's and other effects that are nothing new at all. Anybody who thinks otherwise should try making a rock-song in FL and you'll know what I mean. I looked everywhere and the only thing I see coming out of this program is trance. Rock? It doesn't even have any descent recordingfunction, so how can you possibly make rock-music? With that awfull Fruity Slayer plugin you mean? Trance electro and hiphop you can make with it, but so can every other sequence-program. And for the record: a good DAW comes standard with good plugins.

well you cant make professional rocksongs, but you can make professional electro-songs or whatever. I know that many producers like Basshunters also use/used FL Studio. Like I told you before you need the right plugins and believe me there are many of them like : classical, organ or even rock. And I have all of them and they sound good ! Ive never tried out Cubase or Sonar and maybe they are much better but im happy with FLS !!!

You can download the demo off of the website just google it, it will allow u to export your beats to your computer but u wont be able to save them, or go back and modify them after you exit the program so i suggest listening to it on itunes or whatever before you exit out of FL

Automation Clips. Go into the step sequencer, right click the volume knob of the beat/track you wish to control, and then select "Create automation clip". An automation clip will then be placed into the step sequencer for that pattern. Then, you can right click anywhere on the volume line inside the automation clip, and drag that point down, so that the volume fades away. However, if you wish for all the instruments to fade away, then you must go into the mixer, right click the master volume,etc

chngng...: you can automate almost every other parameter. just open up the vst(i) you want to tweak, edit the required parameter, click on the little white triangle in the window, click last tweaked parameter (parameter name), create automation clip
