Also not all lucario's can kill a blissey. A Sp.atk Ev'd lucario like mine can't kill it. Even with Aura Sphere.

Well my stratagy is when they constantly switch out pokemon that hav a type avantange what I do is plan ahead and use a move that your pokemon has that will be superaffective to the pokemon he will send out that has a upper hand against yours. my friends did that alot and it was sooooooo annoying and I've beaten them all by using this.

@lewisk717 It's a good idea to have physical AND special attacks incase you come across a defense bulky poke. Example: Steelix. A fire fang (even being super effective) wouldnt do shit to him cause his defense is massive. Fire blast on the other hand would decimate him, cause his sp. def is very low.

@lewisk717 depends on what kind of defenses you're dealing with. In most cases you'd be correct, but when facing Skarmory/Steelix and other pokemon with lopsided defensive stats, you're going to be doing more damage with a special attack.

@eev99 Gible to Gabite at 24. Gabite to Garchomp at 48. gible can be found in wayward cave. You have to go under the bike road just to the left of the visible entrance to wayward cave and there is a spot the you take a secret entrance into the cave. Bring strenth or else you wont be able to get inside. But if you are planning to use him in battle don't waste your time as he is now uber. But just to collect or to battle in the uber tier then go for it.

Ubers are just time consuming and don't take any skill to use. There's no strategy to most of them, and Ice Beam wastes 90% of them, but they've got ridiculous stats.

It is not gay. This was back when battling was fun and there weren't thousands of rules to stop you from having fun. I think legendaries are fine in battles because they aren't impossible to take down and are pretty fun to battle against.

the damage efficiency of a direct simple attack is the product of it's power & accuracy.

considering that its more than clear that flamethrower is far superior to fire blast (do the math)

that is without considering the huge pp difference which also supporting falethrower over fire blast.

First off I'd like to say that all of what you said is true.

Garchomp is a very threatening pokemon. However the player is running (what looks like) a Mixed-Attacker Garchomp and as we all know Garchomp's base special is a meager 80, meaning that, despite being risky, it needs the extra power from Fire Blast to fully preform it's job. Flamethrower is much more reliable option, but that Bronzong could easily take 4 or 5 without Stealth Rock support before going down.

but if you start off with such disadvantage, than you resort to mid/weak moves in the general case

meaning your common average stage is reletivly closer to a weak one.

Not exactly true. Garchomp can take a hit, outrun and outlast most pokemon, as most mixed sweepers have the ability to. He is also now considered an Uber tier pokemon. With a Life Orb equiped, face it, that pokemon is meant to faint, but in doing so, it takes as many as it can with it, that is why running a mixed sweeper with a powerful, but low accuracy move is so effective. Also this isn't Focus Blast, 85% Accuracy isn't such a high risk.

with a very rare small ranged (bounded) (s)attack points

allowing it to use let say again fire blast with just over 50% damage to the common opponent,

where weaker moves just won't suffice.

think about it, if you have one move only good for disadvantage stage that means:

1.when its not a massive diadvantage you only have 3 practical moves insted of 4.

2.you are assuming that you will be in a disadvantage at some point (which is likely do to (1)) and of course avoiding assumptions if possible is a fundamental to any thought process.

Stealth rock is active. You're using a life orb pokemon. Each and every attack zaps life from you. If you switch out, and switch back in, more life is going to be taken without even being able to launch an attack. This is why you carry counter moves. Maybe it puts you at a disadvantage, but it might just tip the game in the favor, and don't forget for general sweeping you always have your STAB.
