  • I like chiropractors, they're a great "assist" to healing, but I have had "alot" of trouble with them "disclosing" valuable medical information to me.

  • hi i gave L5-S1 lumbar prob it hurts a lot numbness left side legs im undergoing terapy im going to try some of the exer. You shown us is it ok

  • Thanks for the amazing advice Dr. Jay!!!

  • That Yoga raise + Knee up Was new to me. I respect a lot that u Share this Information. I have had almost Constant Lower back pain for many years with nothing serious showing on the X-ray . The Doctors + physios have given me loads of Ab + Different excercises, from Which Many just made it worse.

I already knew the Planks + the Cockroach WoodChoppers. I think ill try the Side Bridge again since u Explained that it Works the Quadratum + Tranversus Abdominis, they are important in my case.

  • @IDidntComeUpWithName - Thanks for checking me out!! If you have any questions please feel free to message me:)

  • @DrJayKunard - Hello, I had a L5, S1 discectomy last week and would like to know what kinds of exercises or stretches I can do to help the healing process. I am weak in left leg and lots of numbness on my butt and rear thigh. The surgeon said rehab isn't really necessary but to wait a few weeks until I go swimming or even try running. What about exercises and stretching?

  • @shimokita2 - I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing paralysis/numbness in you glut/left lower extremity. This may be do to the compressive forces of inflammation on the surrounding nerves due to post surgery. I am in no position to recommend post-surgical rehab for a discetomy however, I do believe there is protocol for this kind of rehab. It is important to stretch & increase range of motion within joint (without compromising joint integrity) to prevent scar tissue & loss of motion range.

  • @DrJayKunard - Thanks!
