That's a really good class! Tap is really strong here in Brazil but no one can do it like americans LOL, here the hoofer's shuffle is called Flip, just God knows why :/... Great work and keep it up!!
@WillAmaral29 Thanks glad you liked it. Yes tap names differ widely from studio to studio and region to region. Maybe someday we will all agree upon some names!
@rekeszus It's normal not be able to do this at all for a while! It took me a long time to get. It works like this: There is a mild amount of pressure applied to the outside of the ball tap. Then a sudden change occurs in the position of the leg (leg straightens, hip lifts slightly) which causes the ball tap to be pressed against flat (or close to flat) against the floor. After that there is a tiny spank.
@tayisiyahhily Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. I'm mostly working on beginner lessons now, but eventually I'll get back to doing advanced lessons and I hope to cover all the steps in my syllabus through these lessons.
thank you for this! i came from an arts school in ny where i took tap every day in school and outside of school to a small town in germany that only offers beginner tap lessons, so this is going to keep me busy until i get home =)
Thank you SO much for breaking down the triple shuffle! It's one of the few tap steps that has stumped me, and now I know what to practice. You're amazing!
I bought your songs ealier and this is my fave song. Thanks for showing me the cheoreography, slow & then fast for each section. Ah, that's the trick! Thanks again for sharing!
