  • That's a really good class! Tap is really strong here in Brazil but no one can do it like americans LOL, here the hoofer's shuffle is called Flip, just God knows why :/... Great work and keep it up!!

  • @WillAmaral29 Thanks glad you liked it. Yes tap names differ widely from studio to studio and region to region. Maybe someday we will all agree upon some names!

  • @musictaps Yes, maybe... =D Until then, I'll try to learn as many different names as I can ;)

  • My feet have never done that before thats was an amazing workout haha I was so happy I did it 3 times.

  • @gp680 3 times! You are one driven tapper!

  • is it normal that i don't hear any sound at the beginning? ^^ It's really hard to practise this shuffle because I have no idea how it works...

  • @rekeszus It's normal not be able to do this at all for a while! It took me a long time to get. It works like this: There is a mild amount of pressure applied to the outside of the ball tap. Then a sudden change occurs in the position of the leg (leg straightens, hip lifts slightly) which causes the ball tap to be pressed against flat (or close to flat) against the floor. After that there is a tiny spank.

  • do you know how much of a huge inspiration you are?

  • @tayisiyahhily Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. I'm mostly working on beginner lessons now, but eventually I'll get back to doing advanced lessons and I hope to cover all the steps in my syllabus through these lessons.
