Why can't Arsenal fans accept that it was a cast iron penalty?! Dyer was in complete control of the ball in his movement. Ramsey got in the way without even attempting the tackle. Dyer fell on his backside as a result of Ramsey's leg being where Dyer's was about to plant. Seen as Ramsey didn't win the ball, it's a foul.

Samba has handed in a transfer request, Squillaci is wanted by Monaco. If we do not sign Samba then we truely are not an ambitious club anymore. George Graham says we should sign him, he would be immense for us! Him and Vermaelen would be unreal, but Kosicelny has been outstanding for us and would be unlucky to be dropped.

Also not every player wants to join Arsenal, as hard as that might be for some fans to believe. Players consider many factors, including the history of the club and whether the club is able to seriously challenge for the highest honours, the style of football, the quality of the other players that are already at the club, the salary, the league etc.

Top 4 finish doesn't look to likely this year but I'm pretty confident about the future of Arsenal, Ryo, Jack, Ramsey and the Ox are going to take us to the top, Ramsey and Wilshere are going to be closest the Premier League will ever come to Xavi and Iniesta, Ryo is unbelievably good and I think he could be better than Oxlade but he is sick aswell! He was on the bench yesterday but he is 3rd choice at the moment. I've seen him play in his national team and have been impressed. Strange.

The Man U game is a big test. If we can pull off the win, and its a neccessity that we win, it could turn things around. The key to top 4 is consistency of winning at home. Last season we were not great at home but had the best away record. This season its a reverse

Not making anymore excuses but this is pretty much a transition season. We've had them before, 2006/2007? We just have less quality to get us through it. I think we need to get through this season as best we can. We MUST get 4th, we need to try and make sure that our injured players are ready for the start of next season. Hleb was unbelievable for creating Assists and Chances. thats when we became more reliant on Cesc in my opinion because we replaced him with Nasri who was far less creative. The good thing with Flamini was his workrate but i'd rather have Wilshere and Song personally :)
@M3MZ1TV Initially Hleb was as frustrating as Gervinho, but the season before he left he improved a lot, so it was inevitable that he would be on the radar of a big club like Barca who where still the glamour team of Europe with Ronaldinho running the show. In some ways I don't blame him. Unless you grew up in a culture of English football, the chances are that most players will gravitate to the big clubs of Spain and Italy. There is a history there of the greatest players going to those leagues

Samba has handed in a transfer request, Squillaci is wanted by Monaco. If we do not sign Samba then we truely are not an ambitious club anymore. George Graham says we should sign him, he would be immense for us! Him and Vermaelen would be unreal, but Kosicelny has been outstanding for us and would be unlucky to be dropped.

@afcghk Thats what our previous teams were built on. Having Bould and Adams then knowing you could swap 1 with Keown lol. Vermaelen, Samba and Koscielny are easily in the top 10 in the league. Then Mertesacker will improve meaning we have 4 great CB's :)

this is the worse i've seen Arsenal play in a long tym. its like we were playing vs Barcelona, Swansea were that good. i feel that it seemed like there was a massive hole in midfield. Arteta may been really missed. also i don't know why u hate on Rosicky soo much mate, he's better than Walcott, Arshavin. at least he's trying and he was MUCH better than Ramsey. that's for fucking sure. also Ramsey's performance was lyk that of Denilson's wen he's EXTREMELY POOR.

@afcghk No its not all Wenger's fault. Like I said the negotiators in the board room since David Dein left have a lot to anwser for as well. Also not every player wants to join Arsenal, as hard as that might be for some fans to believe. Players consider many factors, including the history of the club and whether the club is able to seriously challenge for the highest honours, the style of football, the quality of the other players that are already at the club, the salary, the league etc.

Top 4 finish doesn't look to likely this year but I'm pretty confident about the future of Arsenal, Ryo, Jack, Ramsey and the Ox are going to take us to the top, Ramsey and Wilshere are going to be closest the Premier League will ever come to Xavi and Iniesta, Ryo is unbelievably good and I think he could be better than Oxlade but he is sick aswell! I'm not worried in the slightest :)

@mackLM1 Also don't forget we bought a young striker called Joe Cambell, whose out on loan because he couldn't get the paper work sorted in time for the PL season. He scored for Costa Rica against Spain recently. I haven't kept up with his progress this season.

Hopefully he will fulfill the potential that compelled Wenger to buy him. Ox is doing well, just needs more games and minutes. The big mystery is Park. Why isn't he able to get into the team. He was on the bench yesterday but he is 3rd choice at the moment. I've seen him play in his national team and have been impressed. Strange.

@afcghk watched him in holland when i was on holiday, he has natural talent, he reminds me so much of Arshavin back in his Zenit days, he's patient and says he is learning all the time in training and said he will only go on loan if Wenger wants him to, he's a good role model for any young player and I can't wait for him to get his opportunity.

Swansea, for all their brilliant play yesterday, are only in 11th place even though they are the 6th best passing side in Europe this season. Newcastle have a better defensive record than us and yet they are behind us. Liverpool spent a lot more than us and yet they are behind us at the moment. Its important to keep things in perspective. There is still a long way to go before the top 4 places are decided. No need for extreme overreaction when a bit of common sense will do.

So its remarkable that we are in 5th place right now. Its still very possible to make the top 4, but we need to stay in touch with Chelsea. They will drop points, you can be sure of that. The Man U game is a big test. If we can pull off the win, and its a neccessity that we win, it could turn things around. The key to top 4 is consistency of winning at home. Last season we were not great at home but had the best away record. This season its a reverse

yes rosicky hasn't scored for us in 2 years however when he does play ive noticed this season he drives arsenal forward with the ball, look at the match against villa as soon as him and benayoun came on arsenal looked much more threatening on the attack and it resulted in us winning the match yes he doesnt do much for us but what can you expect when he isn't starting every match, wenger should bench walcott and arshavin and switch tactics because we wont be in the top 4 this season

He has obviously lost some of his quality, so quality-wise he isn't one of our best midfielders, but I have certainly noticed how he DRIVES FORWARD when he plays! I don't know how to feel about Arshavin... He has shown time and again that he has an incredible amount of quality... Even in the Swansea match, he played a wonderful pass to RVP for the opener. I don't think we should sell him, but Arsene really needs to sit down with him and get him to sort his shit out... I just don't like the feeling of selling a player who is clearly quality.

Ramsey seemed like he had things on his mind. I don't know if its Gary Speed, or to do with the comments he made regarding the plans to bring in a new manager for the national team. I don't know what it was, but he didn't seem totally focused. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. But the body language of certain players said a lot today.

Not making anymore excuses but this is pretty much a transition season. We've had them before, 2006/2007? We just have less quality to get us through it. I think we need to get through this season as best we can. We MUST get 4th, we need to try and make sure that our injured players are ready for the start of next season. I f we can win our first 5 games next season then we could mount a title challenge.

The tragedy of Hleb is that he was finally starting to become the player that Wenger anticipated he could become, and he knows it. Hindsight is 20/20. He only made SEVEN appearances for Barcelona. Oh well at least he can tell his grandkids that he was team mates with Messi in the greatest Barcelona side of alltime.

Hleb was unbelievable for creating Assists and Chances. thats when we became more reliant on Cesc in my opinion because we replaced him with Nasri who was far less creative. The good thing with Flamini was his workrate but i'd rather have Wilshere and Song personally :)

@M3MZ1TV Initially Hleb was as frustrating as Gervinho, but the season before he left he improved a lot, so it was inevitable that he would be on the radar of a big club like Barca who where still the glamour team of Europe with Ronaldinho running the show. In some ways I don't blame him. Unless you grew up in a culture of English football, the chances are that most players will gravitate to the big clubs of Spain and Italy. There is a history there of the greatest players going to those leagues
