  • Great idea! I used acrylic nail polish. It was sad. LOL, I watched it bubble out piece by tiny piece. This is the way to go. Thanks for sharing.

  • CURRENT!!

  • Cool, cheap and easy solution!

I send other idea to resolve the same problem. Check this out.

  • nice work all ideas should be looked at!

  • wasn´t it better to insulate jour holes with that cool kind of paint that´s used for insulating transformator windings. i had that idea jesterday, allso for insulating this holes. cool work!

sorry, my english may isn´t very good

  • What are you using for gasket material between the plates?

  • Milliliters per minute divided by watts.

Watts is volts times amps. Make an hhometer like zerofossilfuel's and time how long it takes to fill up a 500 ml water bottle. example: 500ml in 1 minute at 12 volts x 10 amps = 120 watts. 500 / 120 = 4.16 MMW. Hope this helps. Keep up the great work.

  • thanks but if you watch all my videos i have one and use it.

  • Very good idea,Keep it up!

  • thanks!

  • i am going to build another cell today i plan to copy your idea i have a cell already built so i will have twins. one with your idea one without. that way i can compare mmw side by side...i will give you all the credit for your idea!!! be blessed!

  • that is awesome! it takes forever though.. If you come up with a fast easy way please let me know! It is not the melting. but the clean up after with the dremel.

  • have you built the cell and tested it yet? i am interested in your idea i am concerned that the nylon will break free and get stuck in the cell..

  • yes i did. but i need to rebuild the big cell with it to see if it really improves mmw. the cell i built was a new one and it does not prove anything. I need the difference form the big one.

  • a rubber grommet works well. you can pick them up at home depot in the plumbing section. its sorta looks like an H from the side. basicly it is the same thing you have just created.

  • thanks for the comment. Though i did think of that. my spacing is 1/16th. and the gromit would have to be only .o2 thick on one side of the "H" in order to let the fluid and gas flow threw the gap! I have not yet found any thing that thin! Not sure rubber that thin would stay put even if some one did make it that thin! Thanks any way.

  • That was clever! You will at least reduce the leakage quite a bit. The current now have to past the nylon washer before it can reach the next plate. So in theory, the thicker the nylon hose is the less current will leak?

  • thanks i wish i knew how to test for electrical efficiency! but for now i just hope to see more production at the same wattage. by the way to do the small cell it took forever to insulate all my holes! i still have to cut my gaskets now.

  • Pretty slick idea. Nice.

  • thanks it will be a few day's before i get a cell up and running with it but i can't wait to see if it works!

  • Would you mind briefly describing the current leakage problem you may have solved?

  • for a good description watch ZeroFossilFuel vid #35 but any sharp edge in the electrolyte causes the wattage to be concentrated there instead of the main surface in the plates therefore you don't produce as much gas as you could have at the same wattage. I am not sure if smartscarecrow did a vid on it but i have read many comments he put on other vid that explains it much better than i can! i hope i have some what answer your question.

  • Thats a pretty good idea , maybe it will do the job..Look forward to your results

  • Thanks I sure do hope it works like i think it will! Like you i will post even if it does not work like i hope it does.

  • Nice job guy

    keep up the good work

    EBN IronHead

  • thank you for your support.

  • the mmw will tell the tale ... you have done a similar one without the seal right ??? so run the devil out of 'em both and lets see ... your solution is elegent ... if it works, this could move efficiency up a notch on this type device ...

  • yes i have the big cell right now with the cut tube running down the length of the holes and it operates at 5.3 mmw on the battery charger and when i used my car i got better volts and it raised to 6.1 mmw... so yes i guess before i combine my new plates from 16 to 31 i will run a test with the 16 plates to see if it improves my mmw. good idea thank you!
