  • HYMN SINGAPURU JEST ŁADNIEJSZY OD TEJ MUZYKI.

  • All of us have been brain-washed. Japan, South Korrea, Taiwan and Hong Kong are prosperous state, but they have had not a single party and a single leader. Singapore's prosperity is built by its far-sighted entrepreneurs, small and big businessmen, and most of all its diligent and discipline people.

And also the minorites who have face discrimination but have never created any trouble.

  • the only thing i hate about singapore is that the chinese actually despise those who speak in chinese, they tend to forget their own mother tongue and make proud of speaking in singlish, btw singapore rocks =)

  • i am Pakistani and i like / love Singapore .

N!ce song and also Nice place

    good job

    keep up it

  • Any government that still Floggs people is certainly Backward and primitive. What kind of a violent society is Singapore to do such crimes in todays world?

  • @zimmerman2000 strict = low crime rate. you country = high crime rate, corrupted, dangerous

  • @XTrevvion Low crime rate is used as an excuse to abuse and torture. Barbaric midieval practice that has no place in any modern civilised country in todays wold.

  • @zimmerman2000 whatever you say man, barbaric medieval practice is also used as an excuse to cover up about your corrupt and insignificant country

  • @zimmerman2000 fyi, singapore is not the only country, so stop hanging around here. anyway, why do you care about all these??? all that matters is that singapore is still a very safe country, with racial harmony and no disasters

  • @XTrevvion Singapore is one of the countries that still practices barbaric torture, it does not have racial harmony, it has horrendous floods, much crime covered up by the government,. I am entitled to my opinion. Why do you think many are here............Money!!!

  • @zimmerman2000 barbaric torture...?

    let's see...

it isn't so hard to NOT

    Kill

    Vandalise

    Rape

    and Deal drugs

    and crime in overall.

You commit these, you pay the severe price.

It's not like we're an islamic country, stoning and hanging people for being GAY, or chopping a shoplifter's hands off. Honestly, you dont know barbaric. Read more.

  • @toolfan92 Yes, Barbaric torture--even for trivial minor infractions, like vandalism, and white collar crimes. And beating men for immigration offenses? This is brutality recognized worldwide as human rights abuse.

STOP trying to rationalize or excuse the cruel, inhuman, and degrading actions of a brutal backward and barbaric government; a government incidentally that still discriminates and criminalizes GAY sex among men--not women.

  • @zimmerman2000 vandalism is anything but trivial. When you get your stuff vandalised and destroyed, you would understand. No caning in western countries for that - that's why punks and retards can get away with probation for damaging houses, cars, bicycles etc.

Of course, i dont condone caning for immigration offenses and criminalising gay sex, im actually really against it. But caning, for crimes like rape and assault, is justified. Housebreaking no.

  • @toolfan92 Still trying to justify physically brutalizing people aren't you? Pick and choose what offense seems ok to you to beat people, but there is no defending inhumane treatment. There are international standards that most of the world follows--and prohibits barbaric punishments. What do you mean western countries--Hong Kong and Japan dont sentence people to flogging do they? This has nothing to do with western countries.

Backward Singapore is one of only a few places refusing to change.

  • @zimmerman2000

Caning is what makes to-be rapists and vandals think twice, three times before committing the act. If my baby girl got raped, i would kill the fucker without thinking, the law has it easy on these scum. Assault, depends on severity obviously. Vandalism can go out of control. Caning is a good deterrent. At least I know I wont have to wake up to a pot of paint on my gate and my car broken up.

What international standards?! The U.S. has used torture and waterboarding. Irony?

  • @toolfan92 Unbelievable to catagorize rapists with vandals! If a member of my family were raped I also feel the same as you do ---BUT-- laws by modern governments are to be non-emotional, just, and humane, and not mob-like and barbaric. Any backward nation can torture people and claim that it deters them, but it is NOT acceptable internationally. Have you ever heard of the United Nations and human rights? The US was wrong in waterboarding-- and it is not a part of their laws. No justification.

  • @zimmerman2000 im done arguing with you. we could debate till the sun dies out and no one will ever convince the other of our views. Been nice discussing things with you, you have been a really nice person. Ciao. :)

  • @zimmerman2000 the thing is Singapore has a deterrent policy, you do the crime, you get caned. Severe punishments are needed even for something as "trivial" as vandalism to prevent it from happening. When you know what you'll get, you wont do it. What are you trying to imply? Are you saying vandalism is okay? Rape is alright?

  • @toolfan92 Barbaric African tribes, terrorist groups and middle eastern places have their "deterrence" also. Torture punishments like mutilations or burning someone or plucking their finger nails out for that matter can be used as a deterrent, but these extreme violent actions by these animals -- and Singapore -- are BARBARIC and this cruelty is prohibited world wide.

  • great video!!

  • expensive like tokyo.

doubt one can afford to live in singapore for cheap.

otherwise nice place for short holiday.

  • Wow. I'm Singaporean, and Japan seems VERY cool.

And clean. It's very clean and shiny. :D Hope I can vist there one day ><

  • More proof that Asia has better cities than Europe for nightlife and skylines.

  • @RACTOD agreed, Asia has the best cities in the world...I wanna live in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei or Singapore one day. Seriously haha, I hate living in my home city of NYC...

  • SHAME ON BARBARIC SINGAPORE

This sadistic country and government mandates brutaL FLOGGINGS To males

right out of the dark ages. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE-GO ELSEWHERE

Swiss man Oliver Fricker sentenced to beating for spray painting a train car.

    Unbelievable crap.

  • @somuchsolittleful Oliver Fricker was given the same advantages as a Singaporean. He was given a chance to have a great life in Singapore. Spray painting is not common in Singapore, us being very strict. So when something like this happens, it is a VERY BIG DEAL. Unlike other countries who face spray-painting problems everyday.

But still, I guess, from ur POV, I do see what you mean... to YOU it may seem a little harsh.

    But please respect our country.

  • @somuchsolittleful HA! I asked my Lit teacher from England, and she said you got it totally wrong. Flogging and caining are two different things. You know, flogging is the type where they use thick wooden rods, but caining is those thin twigs and wood. HA! GET YOUR ISSUES/ASSUMPTIONS CORRECT BEFORE U ACCUSE US!!! (But doesn't mean this was one whole big fat misunderstanding? OO)

  • Crimes against humanity is everyones concern whether anyone wants to hear it or not, and Singaporians do not. It doesn't matter if it is in Iran, Saudi Arabia, or Singapore, legalized brutality and torture is universally accepted as inhumane and not justifiable. Singapore continues to violate international laws prohibiting torture by its barbaric beatings (caning) and arbitrary mandatory use of the death penalty. Civilized countries should ban investments, trade, travel.and tourism.

  • This video reminds me so much of when I visited Singapore :) This country captured my heart so much I can still remember everything as though it was yesterday albeit it was actually ten years ago. Singapore is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

  • @LoveAntifa xDDDDDD

  • @EDEBOYZ Er... Singapore isn't on bad relations with England. It's kinda cool actually. I mean, Singapore makes peace with everyone. O.0

  • You pathetic son of a bitch. Get your facts right. The UK barely even fought for Singapore in WW2. THEY SURRENDURED WITHIN A WEEK BECAUSE OF THEIR COMPLACENCY. And look at how well Singapore is doing on its own, without the intervention of the british. Fools like you just live in a hole. Fuck off.

  • well said.

  • Yuo are right.sick n tired of ignorant imperialist claims.singapore is a self made sovereign state.since independance it turned its economy round.I would say the same of China 10 years from now. That is why western govts are on its case regarding its human rights record.singapore's economy outdid UK's despite the global recession-face the facts

  • なんか雰囲気が東京と似てるな。

    と思ったら、東京だった。

  • Lmao...I started wondering at the beginning of the video..."Wait a minute...that tower look a lot like Tokyo Tower...are you sure you're in Singapore?"

Then I read the description...awesome video!...don't dig the song too much haha but that's just me. Still rocks man 5 stars.

  • LOL :) Nice. I like ur vid! :D

  • happy 44th birthday Singapore!

  • nice video! Guess you had enjoyed yourself there =D

  • thx thx

  • Comment removed

  • Chill man. USA, Japan, UK etc etc are all doing it to their tourists, why don't you complain about them instead? :) It's politics, you can protest all you want but that won't change anything. Besides it's just a government. I'm pretty sure they have more important things to do than worry about what crime to frame you with!

  • Well the Singaporean government have the right to do so in the event that a renowned drug trafficker or art smuggler enters SG, we will be able to track him down and report to Interpol almost immediately.. Or when a foreigner overstays in SG, we can also immediately check from the records that he has overstayed his immigration permit.. Some foreigners also commit crimes in Singapore even if they are not a significant number and this will help in the SG police investigations

  • oh sorry forgot to read the description

  • why is it showing tokyo at first?

  • iam coming to singapore. thank you.

  • I miss home. I miss my family...

  • cool video!

  • thanks for putting this up and coming to singapore! hopefully you have enjoyed your trip there! =) just an advice for video taking. you can try to move the video camera slower so that viewers will not get dizzy watching the clip moving so fast. and it's merlion, not marlion =)

hope to go tokyo when i have the opportunity~ :D

  • You missed out quite a few unique Singapore sites on your visits ;)

You should give zoo a miss and try Pulau Ubin next time.

  • Disagree on the comment on the zoo. The Zoo is a must-see! Don't rush it. Spend one good whole day with friends and loved ones with the animals. It'll be one unforgettable experience. Should try the reverse bungee at Clarke Quay also. Pulau Ubin is cool also.

  • thx for putting this up!
