Good to see this again. Used to love Bobby D as a kid (even if he did do Frank Spencer impressions about 15 years after that series had ended!).

I'm not really sure what to say about that. I feel like a part of me inside has died. I can only imagine it's similar to how Sheila Grant must have felt after she'd been for an 80s Brookside beverage with that fella who fancied her only to be covered in 'I can't believe it's nut butter' and left in a bush by an unfriendly taxi driver.

i find it impossible to believe 3 different men wanted to unleash a ball bags worth of jiz up sheila grant. on the same night as well!!Thats scouse women for you...always moaning!! she'd have a lot to moan about if bobby got free tickets off the union to be in the audience watching bobby here record this prime time tv show...i think she'd have been wishing she was lying on her back in a scouse alleyway geting pummelled by an unknown cab driver after forgetting his tip...

i'd like to clarify that the free tickets from the union to see boobby davro perform were given to sheila's loud mouthed actrive union member husband, bobby grant and not given to sheila by mr davro himself. to my knowledge mr davro has never met sheila. apologies for any confusion caused.

On the subject of top comedians a woman I work with reckons she let Joe Pasquale get his 'fingers and tops' off her the night he won his heat on New Faces of 87. It didn't go all the way however because an apparently nervous Joe broke wind just as she knelt down to attend to his pissquale. She quickly got dressed and called him a 'sqeaky voiced tit'. She saw him some weeks after and they laughed about it. Joe admitted he had to finish himself off using an old edition of Look In!

I saw Bobby once in a Nottingham branch of Netto (scandinavian for value i'm led to believe) He had a trolley full to the brim with booze and one packet of nappies. On paying for his goods he realised he didn't have enough money so he put the nappies back. This was circa 1988 mind, when Davro was at the top of his comedy game and no less than 4 TV Times awards under his belt !!
