As much as I'd love to hear Kero and other artists on the radio, I'm actually glad they aren't. We should all be thankful that this genre and style is hidden and is available to those who seek it. What saddens me the most is, it's not up to the DJ's what music will be played. I have plenty of friends that are known DJ's and Turntablists throughout the Bay Area. Their love and passion for hip hop are greater than mine, yet the numbers come back and the newer younger generations don't wanna hear what we strive to make mainstream.
