well aaliyah was catholic and beyonce is methodist first of all. beyonce's voice is soulful and strong, aaliyah's is angelic and melodic. beyonce's version is a pop rendition, aaliyah's version is traditional and religious.

i truely am a beleiver now when people say some things are too good to be here on this earth, and god takes them away for a reason. this girl was a true angel walking here on earth. we went to middle school together, so it hit so close to home. she is the reason i started singing back then, and why im still singing now. thank you Aaliyah, for inspiring me and so many others to follow their dreams.
