  • what dyou call this kind of music? I like it!

  • @PB0pdo Folk, man. :D

    Great right?

  • @PB0pdo folk/country

  • Winston is so fucking hot!

  • Oh dear! This awfully English version of an early Neil Young song just doesn't work, in fact it's downright laughable. Just imagine Crazy Horse rockin' through this with the wonderfully dirty Cajun fiddle accompaniment.( I can't find a video clip of CH singing this?)

  • @mandofidgit Neil Young loves their version of his song. That's pretty high praise.

  • @mandofidgit Check him out playing it with them at this years Bridge School Benefit concert.

  • @mandofidgit Neil Young sang it with them on stage, guess you know more than the creator of the song eh? Not sure how but you claim to. What a musical genious you are.

  • Reasons to love this song:

    -Marcus Mumford's awesome voice

    -awesome work on all instruments

-great song by a great icon

    -they're cute

-shameless demonstration of classy Britishness ("daaaaaaaance")

How could anyone possibly dislike this?

  • See the girl DONCE, hear the dull PONCE.

  • I notice Marcus has got a spare guitar beside him in case the one he's using cums early.

  • This song live made me want to rewind 100 years and move to Mississippi.

  • This gave me chills, yet I've heard it many times before

  • i love neil young but this is way better than his version

  • Lol because it's country with some kick ass. ;)

  • I can't understand why I hate country music but like bluegrass and folk... so weird.

  • @CaptainCarthex i know i have the same confusion :P

  • does he use standard tuning?

  • @basoon91 The guitar is tuned to Open D for the majority of their songs.

  • @arislonim25 Bit reactionary. I'm commenting on the singing not the production values. By comparison I love their version of Jolene with Laura Marling. A terrible recording by a fan in the audience, but it doesn't matter because they nailed it.

  • bit not good. could have been better from these guys, they owe this song more, bit half arsed

  • @loughlinh look where they're recording this song you moron it's in a fucking living room. Still it's well above par in my opinion

  • I used to be sad that I was canadian because mumford doesn't come here enough, but now that he covers one of our songs, I'm proud.

  • Better than the original. :)

  • Winston is so yummy

  • bloody hell this is safe compared to the backyard mumford and sons 'dance, dance, dance' seriously watch it its a recomomdation along the side its amazing !!!!!!!!

  • Darns? :D

  • @KMileSupernova its an english thing we think the way americans say dance is funny ;) oh and squirrrel , how do you say squirrel !? :P

  • @hanaxcb "skwurl" as opposed to "squiddle," or is squiddle more of a Scottish pronunciation?

  • @hambone1138 noooooo squiddle is soooooo irish XD ;)

  • DURNCE

  • Such an amazing band, they blow my fucken mind, I can't get over how much I've fallen in love in such a short time. And this is such a good cover, i can't stop listening to it

  • How the hell did you get them "to come

round your house"??? Your so lucky, they are the best band there's been for ages.... =)

  • dunce!

  • I love the musical instruments EVERYWHERE. Mumford is the shit.

  • thats the proper way saying dance

  • DARNCE

  • You are all entitled to your opinion and I respect that. However I ask you if the style of this cover synchs with their style of music. What is the point of a cover if it is just perfectly matching the original?

And for those of you who are complaining about how Marcus pronounces the word "dance" please take a moment to consider that they are English. It seems to be one of the parts of their accent that slips through.

  • @dogmunch You sir, don't know good music clearly, these men make beautiful songs, if you dont like this cover thats one thing, but none of their music is boring

  • @dogmunch go somewhere else please. thank you

  • @MLplayer78 I have and it's very pleasant.

  • once in a generation type band.

  • I met them! They were so....nice

  • it is DANCE not DARTS! lulz. still a legit cover.

  • @dogmunch *gives you a tampon*

  • @beJOYfulyo cheers i needed that for my bleeding ears

  • @dogmunch Anytime

  • THEY CAME TO YOUR HOUSE!?!?!?!?! YOU ARE THE MOST REDICULOUSLY LUCKY PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O :) X

Got the toadsession on my iPod ;P

  • I want them to come to my house.

  • @mfrembgen if they do so let me know

  • @mfrembgen i want them to live at my house.

  • @mfrembgen ....me too!

  • haha the best thing about this is the pronunciation of dance.

  • @jaggysnake57 lol that made me laugh.

  • @jaggysnake57 Best thing about this is that they do not americanize their pronounciation like some other bands...

  • @IndependentPresident well said!

  • @IndependentPresident ..and thats why its the best thing....dumbass

  • @jaggysnake57 haha the best thing about this is that you call me dumbass

  • @jaggysnake57 You mean the proper English pronunciation?

  • @jaggysnake57 lol darnce X)

  • clap clap clap

  • Too much awesomness!

  • GREAT COVER!!

  • .mp3 version?

  • this is so amazing! one of my fave songs covered by the best band!

  • @hagababobobo123

I LOVE Neil! I just discovered these guys! They are AMAZING. They feel and live their music. Like Neil. So appropriate!
