Man I love this guy.He's got the lot!To taemurz;I think his sound is partly due to his lovely guitar/set up but largely also due to his attack with his fingernails(and pick!) and general feel.Nice if he could come online and give us a few tips.

The amplifiers are of the most importance in getting this sound I use Polytone. I can get pretty much the same results from any Tele type guitar with Hambuckers on it. I prefer solid or semi-solid like the one I`m playing in the video because of the sustain , it had todo with the style too the guys I like used teles like Ted Greene and Ed bickert

I never would have guessed that "amp". I have that lead sheet for "Barkley Square". and I used to play a simillar rendition of it.Roy Patterson handed it out during one of the lessons.Then he played right there in front of me. I actually teared up half way through it. Your version is eqally beauitful.

What type of amp are you using? It sounds like a tube amp, but then it's hard to tell with my little speakers on my computer. Great playing as usual.

The amp is a Polytone mini brute plus 2, although I'm using only one speaker plugged (pre amp out)directly to the computer. On the other video : My Funny Valentine I'm doing the same but with a Polytone Taurus II.
