Hey man I think that's east san jose right? I used to live right next to Raging Waters. I lived off of Tully and Evergreen, Sesame Court to be exact. But I only lived there when I was about 2 years old to about 7 years old. 5 years only but it was good times in the 80's for me as a kid there! My dad used to take my sister and I to the sprint car races at san jose fairgrounds and also Baylands. :-) My dad was a carpenter and worked with Brent Kaedings crew chief, that's how it started.

I went to Rogers Elementary. :-P My house was real close to Ocala Middle School. And the closest highschool was Mount Pleasant I think. We lived right accross the street from Reid Hillview Airport and real close to Eastridge Mall. My family moved to Fairfield in 1989 and we've been here ever since. It's about an hour and 15 minutes north up the 680 from San Jo. It's a cool area. We are right in the middle of all the big cities.

And hey man, you NEED to get a Logitech Driving Force steering wheel and pedals. It makes it feel like you are really racing a freaking sprint car. It's hella realistic man. You can probably find the wheel on ebay for like $20-30 shipped or maybe even less! At first it's really hard and you'll crash a lot, but after awhile it feels like you are REALLY driving the car and you will never go back to the controller... Also its probably why I get kickass times. :-)

very impressive driving stud. ive been on this game since it came out & have NEVER blown a 1301 @ Eldora!. ive got champ status on local, regional, & support series. just dusted off the game & im going for the BIG TITLE!!! LOL I set up for TACKY till the Dash then i switch it up for SLICK conditions. wing position back to 24. it works for me. ANYONE NEED MY ENTIRE CAR SET UP & TIMES 4 ANY CERTAIN TRACKS??? could work for u 2.

Thanks! And I got a 1295 the lap after that! LOL. ;-) I got it when it came out too. Man I love this game. Best sprint car game by far imo. Do you use the Logitech wheel/pedals? It makes the game AWESOME. So realistic. It's tough at first but once you get used to it, there's no going back to the controller. I beat this game 100% pefect a long time ago. :-) But that PS2, game & mem card were stolen 5+ years ago. I since got another PS2 and this game etc. You in San Jo? I used to live there.

No cheats. :-) Just hundreds of hours of playing and I got really good. I use the logitech steering wheel and pedals as well. I don't really know about the setups too much. All I can say is just practice A LOT and you will start to win all the time. ;-)
