Outstanding performance, everything that happened in that performance was musically fine, for all the critics that posted. I suppose that when you leave it up to bands like Daughtry and Nickelback to teach you finesse, you probably just don't end up learning very much.
People are mental cases on here... who cares if you miss a change? It's all about the energy! Also this is their first real sanctioned performance in many years so it's very rough and raw. Watch the DVD they came out with and youll hear the difference as that was well into the tour so thats what i'll say to that! BTW Andys solo reminds me of Phishs Trey Anastasio whom played with Copeland in Oysterhead!
The Police are cool, but regarding this particular performance, all I can say is that with that guitar solo, Andy Summers serves as inspiration to 80 year old, moribund beavers everywhere.
no... he's playing what's known in jazz as "outside" a bit, based more on implied harmony than the direct melody... which a lot of his solos have always done. Listen to miles Davis, Nels Cline and Marc Ribot for more... or don't if it's not your thing. I thought his solo was great.

This is "Voices Inside My Head" not "When the World is Running Down..." ie it's mislabeled.
