I dont understand... Does non-asian see asians as pale? They must be thinking of japanese, chinese and korean because how smooth and pale their skin are. Some non-asians think that asians HAVE to have high grades but that's with some asians but honestly asian parents just want you to have good education. the philippines (i'm philippino), Vietnam, Malaysia and more have mainly brown skin but do have some pales skins too. So why can't we be proud for your types and not try to be another?

You know, not all Asians have pale white skin like a Geisha. That's just an idealized form of beauty in their culture. A lot of people from Asian cultures actually have pretty medium toned skin. So for your tutorial, it would have looked far better if you just chose a concealer a few shades lighter than your natural tone, and instead worked on creating the illusion of Almond shaped eyes, or even just copying Asian make up and fashion trends.

Hey, thanks for the great tutorial. I have a production where I have a black girl that I have to make look Asian. This has been a great help. And the rest of you that think this is in some way offensive, that includes you asians, I'm really surprised at your feelings. I'm half causcasian, half Filipino and I find nothing at all wrong with this. And renaming it "Geisha" makeup, aren't Geisha's Asian anyway. If you have nothing nice to say, just don't watch it.
