Some parts of the movie are merely American racist stereotypes, for instance, when he enters an American bar and all blacks glare at him. I have Polish friends who already did volunteer works here in Brazil, ppl were cool with him, he is white, blonde with blue eyes. This movie would be excelent if not for Balabanov's stupidity. He presents blacks as haters without any context. Blacks were enslaved, killed, sodomized and tortured by American whites for thousand years, only during the 60's they started to gain some basic rights. They were not even considered humans at the first Constitution.

Anyway, I love how it ridicularizes the America and its culture, before this movie, a "totem" in 90's Russia. His scene shooting American gangsters in Raft is epic!!!

Для меня остались в сердце только несколько хороших фильмов:трилогия"деревенский детектив" с замечательным актёром Михаилом Жаровым,ещё есть парочка,Брат 1 и 2.Все фильмы показывают то,что для меня самое важное в жизни:Правда,Честность,Патриот­изм.Я надеюсь,наши дети,внуки,правнуки и другие поколения будут смотреть эти фильмы ВСЕГДА.Всем советую.Вечная память С.Бодрову.

Нереальный фильм! Смотрела раз 100! Каждый раз как в первый раз. Что-то есть в этом фильме, правда не знаю что, но как не парадоксально, во время просмотра этого фильма хочется и плакать, и смеяться. Даже не к чему придраться и актеры, и саундтрек и фразы, которые уже стали крылатыми, все на высшем уровне. Вот что значит, когда талантливые люди, как Бодров, Сухоруков, Балабанов участвуют в создании фильма. Этот фильм явно не относится к категории "одноразовых" фильмов!
