has anyone noticed rock took like its last fighting chance on the 04-06 range such as billy corgan trying to add a pop twist or green day with american diot or rage against the machine with renegades. it was like they just put somthing out there as a sacrafice for rock and it either worked or didnt but its to late now most rock is dead and pop is here to stay for a while:(
This is probably one of my favorite songs from the mind of Billy Corgan, even topping many of the Pumpkins' songs. liamvg is right, this was way ahead of its time; definitely under appreciated when it was first released in 2005. Overall it feels very much like Thom Yorke's solo album does and I love them both.
A leader amongst men and women... Billy Corgan has been an influential artist over the past 20 years and continues to do so today. This is one of my faves off this lp and glad that someone finally uploaded it.
I dont appreciate you coming in my dreams . Next time I want to go

I'm no smashing pumpkins fan, I barely get on with the rest of Corgan's album, but this song is brilliant in so many different ways

Watch:
Lost Highway
The song Eye on the Lost Highway soundtrack is a definite precursor to this piece.

I love how the tempo shifts seamlessly back and forth like a deviant sex act.

@Thecraziestuser Perhaps you mean the drum beat... The tempo stays the same throughout the entire song.

@Glareth - As the drum beat changes the tempo/speed of the beat also changes at around the 00:45 second mark. That's how I hear it anyway.

Ahead of his time. There are tracks on this album that would be considered modern top 40 KIIS FM stuff.
