Top 10 Handguns

I am super new to guns. I have two questions for the gun experts viewing:

1) Why not the Jericho (in top 10)?

2) Is there any real defensive value (comparatively speaking) in a Five-Seven that is only loaded with the US-legal sporting rounds?

I would appreciate details suitable for informing a newb. Im not too sure what is assessed in choosing a gun, but I assume penetration, permanent cavity and accuracy are the key determinants? Is this right?

And NO.1 Handgun in the world is Desert Eagle 50. 12,7mm Hydrashock Cartridge is the most powerful round ever to be used in a handgun. (And I'm not a fan of MW-2, I know that MW-2 don't know shit about weapons.)

Glock-17? If you know anything about weapons, you should know that G-17 is the most unreliable handgun in the world. (It's made of plastic)! My country makes much better versions of this pistol, because we make it out of metal, which increases reliability.

im sorry but the oringina colt 1911a1 (1927 variant, used in world war 2) should be at the top of the list- durable, reliable, .45 acp, good lokking, simple, and has a massive history behind it, and a short trigger pull so you know it has a good fire rate if you have a good trigger finger

...my personal opinion: the build quality on the Beretta alone beats many (not all) of the hand guns listed. beretta stands at n6 or n7. Glock is ok at n1.

@eblemis The Desert Eagle is not so much overrated as it is miscategorized by video gamers and movie watchers. It was designed with the intent of knocking out the engine blocks on Suicide Vehicleborne IEDs, not for people. Again, those who do not know much about firearms, firefights, terrorism, or warfare often mis-glorify this pistol. It is good for its purpose though I will agree that the one chambered for .44 sucks.

I wouldn't rank H&K before Sig magazine due to release issue. Sig should be #1 and H&K #2 Glock #3. Walther was ok back in the day but now why ranked so high? Do you own Sig, H&K, Glock, Walther? Not picking an argument maybe you know something I don't.  I also had alot of military use with the 92F I hated it. I also used the Colt 1911 which I preferred a little more than the 92F. Still both guns are low on my list. Try a Sig. accurate, dependable, easy to break down and clean.

@hmongvaj08 - How is Glock the best? In a self-loading pistol, the 1911 is king of the hill. In a revolver, the Single Action Army (aka Peacemaker) is king of the hill. Glock has nothing on either one of them.
