u should check out this thing called the Griffin Air Curve. Its a dock that has a place to put ur cable in under the actual dock, so u can plug ur iphone in and charge it. When ur iphone is in the dock, the speaker lines up with a curved-channel that opens up at the front to project sound. it really does amplify the sound A LOT. Of course there are no speakers, so u get the sound of the iphone speaker (little bass). it is see-thru and is really nice, and solid.
