I would urge everyone to check out the Cavaliers drum and bugle corps' 2010 production, "Mad World." They use this piece, and it sounds awesome.

@mashdoctor Yeah, that's the reason I looked up the video. I love how a Drum Corps can take a normal song and turn it up to 11. Just listen to Dismantling Utopia! Hope to audition for them next year.

We played this piece back in the 2003-2004 school year at my high school. One of the most ridiculously difficult pieces but I absolutely loved it and we scored a perfect 100 in competition on it...

Mind you we played it along a shotstakovich symphony and the entire star wars suite... good year

goddamn thats a hard peice, hella impressive even for an all-state band. All I can remember is the bitch rhythms and crazy high first trombone range especially at around 3:00, and that our bassoonist had a real hard time at the waltz, lol

these kids took it hella slow....... isnt the tempo 168?????? I mean, i am a high schooler myself and we played this faster than them.......... just a plain high school.... not some honor band..... but i dont want to seem like i hate this. it is a good clean tempo for them.......

Pretty good for high schoolers! I played this in college, and we took it at tempo.... 160 beats, 178 at the tempo jump.. INSANE! But we were all performance majors. Still, this is in credible that a bunch of high school players could rip this out..... impressive.
