  • So, I could do that.

  • quelita28 -Couldn't agree with you more....I for one can confirm and am confident that African Greys are the smartest!

  • very smart parrot,African greys are the smartest parrots in the world.

  • SammySamffl, a very intelligent one too...

  • Chienssavants, The truth of the matter is that i never mark any cards, later on when the sound is working on my computer l will use the same cards to ask GR to give me the card via the names of the animals and alternatively by the colour of the cards..

  • The correct (or wrong) puzzle-part always has a sign which is not visible on your video. The parrot selects depending the marked part.

  • Hi Veetina

This task is not a coincidence. GR and l have done this and lots of other tasks a lot of times. He is a very confident parrot Feel free to watch these other tasks, i assure you that you will think differently...

  • Coincidence?

  • Thank you

  • nice bird i mein the one with fethers lol

    smart to

  • Hi jericsmith, please feel free to comment on other of my parrot's vedios were he is presented with all the peices to choose from an example of this vedio is where he is choosing to spell his own name.

  • Dear Jericsmith, thanks for your comment. I have done various exerices with him, and have mixed for example "the left over puzzle piece serval times before placing in front of him, he still gets it right, because he knows the answers...because he has leant them. In this exercise, l can go through the whole set of cards by the animals name, or alternatively by the colours in the background...

  • I know that CAGs are the most intelligent of the parrots, and I believe that this level of reasoning is a possibility with Greys. However, I am not convinced of the validity of this exercise. This parrot obviously knows that the left over puzzle piece will always be the correct choice in the subsequent selection.

  • Hey jericsmith, but that still means that the parrot is using deductive reasoning doesn't it!

  • I don't deny he is a reasoning parrot. I have two Greys and I am completely confident in their ability for deductive reasoning.

  • whether you mix or not, it's still the remaining piece. Regardless, this is a smart parrot. I would like to see him select the correct piece when it is not left over from the previous selection. No offense, just believe in the scientific method.
