Almost two years after this review and the headset still works great. I use the thing 3-4 hours every day. I'm going to be getting some AD700s and a Zalman clip on for Christmas though. This thing has served me well!

@adaam509 The 800 version is a gold plated normal mic in and audio in socket. The 1000 version of the fatal1ty headsets is also a gold plated usb socket. There IS a price difference between them, kinda expensive but there the same. Won't really matter lol.

It means that the bass of the songs (like the bum-bum-bum of the songs) sounds good. With another headsets the bass sounds more like bac-bac-bac because of the poor quality (and I know that because I've got a poor headset from Mitsai xD).

I do have one question about these, i recently bought a skullcandy headset just for using with my ipod and such and i found that they really squish my head and i cant wear them for long, whereas i have a senheiser pair which i could wear for hours because they are so loose. How is this headset in that regard? will i be able to play tf2 or whatever for 5 hours and still be sure my head is its original shape or are they a bit on the squishy side? Thanks
