  • COOLPRO195 please tell me how did you run an Xbox game on your Xbox 360, you need some emulator? or I can place the disk and work?

  • @TheAlexdari i didn't get it to run on my Xbox 360, you need an Xbox 360 hard drive which has the backwards compatiblilty emulation software for original Xbox games to run but mine came with a hard drive so i won't need to buy one, if that particular original Xbox game you want to play doesn't work on the Xbox 360 then it's not compatible but if the game you want to run actually is compatible and it's not running for some strange reason then contact microsoft

  • I dont have a Ps3 , and i dont have any playstation fat version , i wanna buy a CECHA01 Model which is supposedly to be the best ps3 , but i have a question the ps2 game ty the tasmanian tiger 3 cant be played on ps2 slim version only in ps2 fat versions , i have heard that cecha01 has the 100% compatibility because it has the ps2 hardware but does the 60gb ps3 has the ps2 fat hardware or ps2 slim hardware? and where do you suggest me i can buy that model because in ebay it cost 750$us

  • @bonedicoot i don't know which PS2 hardware the PS3 60GB PAL model has and i don't know where i could recommend you to get the model you want but it was worth asking btw is the CECHA01 model another version of the 60GB version?

  • @COOLPRO195 do you have a loading problem on the ps3 with crash twinsanity?

  • @IIIslay no, you can see that in the recording. why did you ask me that? do you have that problem or something?

  • @COOLPRO195 Well when I save a game in twinsanity it goes fine. But when i load it again later it freezes.. Do you have this problem?

  • @IIIslay as i matter of fact i don't have that problem at all, is your disc scratched or is it in good condition?

  • @COOLPRO195 They're in a good condition. I also searched it and more people had this problem ( not many ) Which ps3 do you have? The old one or the new? How many gb?

  • @IIIslay i have the PS3 60GB model, you can tell by just reading the title

  • @COOLPRO195 Oh yeah, uhm is your twinsanity dvd ntcs, or pal? And which generation ps3 do you have? 1st or 2nd?

  • @IIIslay my Crash Twinsanity disc is PAL and if i have the 60GB model then obviously it would be 1st gen unless you mean which country it came out when, it came out in Japan in December 2006 and mine is PAL so that one came out on the 3rd March 2007 and that would probably be 2nd gen in that case

  • @COOLPRO195 Mmh that's weird...

  • @IIIslay i know, right? it's not fair that the NTSC-U/C (US/Canada) and the NTSC-J (Japan) PS3 60GB models have full PS2 backwards compatibility and the PAL (Europe/Australia) models only get 70% of it, Sony should've been fair by giving all models 100% of the PS2 BC

  • are downloadable ps2 games compatable with the new slim ps3 ?

  • @DavidH071 downloadable PS2 games? never seen them before

  • how did you get it on ps3

  • @dark67469 do you mean how did i manage to run a PS2 game on my PS3? if you do then i have the 60GB model which has PS2 backwards compatibility

  • kid, you're a dumbass.

  • actually, XBOX games always looked better than PS2 games. the XBOX was a much more powerful machine than both PS2 and GCN, so third party multiplatform games, the majority of the time, look better on XBOX. the Hulk Ultimate Destruction, for example, supports 720p, and the PS2, and GCN versions of the game only did 480p.

  • @SkankinDevil89 i never said that PS2 games were better than Xbox games and i know that the Xbox was the most powerful console out of the PS2/Xbox/Nintendo Gamecube and some games that were exclusive to the Xbox got cancelled for the PS2 because the PS2 wasn't powerful enough to run those games, take Oddworld Munch's Oddysee for example, a PS2 version was in the making but then they found out that the PS2 wasn't powerful enough to run the game

  • SO DOES THAT MEAN U CAN PLAY PS2 GAMES ON PS3????

    oh btw im dumb XD

  • @MikeyProGames yes it does mean i can play PS2 games on my PS3, mines the 60GB model btw you've just asked that question for no reason because you can see that Crash Twinsanity is a PS2 game and it's running on a PS3 with PS2 backwards compatibility

  • @COOLPRO195 yea, but iv seen a lot of comments saying yes and no so i just wanted to be sure. Thank you for telling me the answer though :P

  • @MikeyProGames the reason why some people say no to PS2 games working on their PS3's because they don't have the ones with PS2 backwards compatibility, at least you know now :)

  • @COOLPRO195 thats true! and i really like ur videos espicially the crash bandicoot ones because im also a big fan of crash bandicoot!!! :)

  • why do people play older games on an hdtv with a stretched aspect ratio? it looks terrible

  • @etihw21 people play older games on a HD console connected to a HDTV because the graphics upsacale to HD when you play an older game on a HD console, btw the aspect ratio is not stretched, some classic games support widescreen mode and some don't

  • @etihw21 Well by playing the games on a HD console with an HD TV works fin due to upscaling,if you connect a PS2 to a HD TV it will look like crap.

  • @sonicblast19 exactly, the best cable the PS2 can use is a component cable and component cables are as good as HDMI cables but i don't know how it'll operate on a PS2

  • @COOLPRO195 Actually what the composite cable does is give you the abillity to use Progresive Scan. It's not available in RF\RGB\SCART\S-Video.

  • i really want to buy the 60gb model

  • @WAZZATA that's what i thought when the ps3 came out :)

  • rayman revolution you cant get passed the cave of bad dreams on ps3 because it lags so much there that the button not work

so i play the most of my ps2 games on my ps2

    not ps3 :P

  • @Bentenyson1 it works for me, is there any particular reason why it doesn't work with yours? i heard that not all PS3 60GB models have the same type of BC, like for example, one game runs on one model perfectly while on another model of the same version lags horribly, sony are being unreasonably unfair :(

  • @COOLPRO195 i know why

bevore it runned good because i used AV cables (just like ps2)

but now i use hdmi for gaming in hd and widescreen mode for ps3 games

and not all ps2 games runs very smooth with hdmi but rayman 3 works fine with it

  • @Bentenyson1 tbh any PS2 games work fine on my PS3 with widescreen mode and HDMI

  • I just gotten ps2 verisons of Colin McRae Rally 04 and 2005 because i had the xbox version. i'll get a video up soon

  • @KARTMAN769 ok, btw are you planning to do any let's plays, walkthroughs or anything?

  • @COOLPRO195 that's a really good question. I shall once i get some appropiate recording equipment, for instance a HD webcam or a capture card.

  • @KARTMAN769 choice is yours but i'd rather get a capture card, i'm thinking about getting a Roxio Game Capture which is a Component HDAV capture card and it's way cheaper than a Hauppauge HD PVR, i saw it in Maplin and it's £79.99 which is exactly the same price as the Dazzle Video Recorder Platinum, I need to get a component cable for my PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360 & Nintendo Wii but i've already got one for my PSP

  • 02:33 You ;)

  • @wiktor3397 lol, i know :)

  • This game dosent work on my PS3, it keeps freezing on the loading screen ):

  • @PLHSAngel it depends if your CD is scratched/badly scratched or not, my CD only has a few and it works perfectly but if your CD doesn't have scratches and frezes then i don't know what to do about that :P

  • @COOLPRO195 I tried 3 different disc, same all problems.

  • @PLHSAngel that's tough, man :P

  • Could you see/ or tell me if Crash Tag Team Racing works on PS3?

    please

  • @crashfan8 it does, i've played it on my PS3

  • Looks like Twinsanity bring some original enemies back : Skunks, natives, ...

Should I get the game, if I'm nostalgic to the original ones?

I have a PS3 (Slim...if there's gona be a compatibility for PS2 games.) and the original Xbox ....should I get the game for my PS3 or Xbox?

  • @Poodleinacan No PS2 BC for slim. That's a no go my friend.

  • @SN1P3ROne Ok.

  • Ps3 has hardware emulation. Xbox has software emulation. That explains everything. Btw what is the model of your tv?

  • @UrGFsTaco my tv is LG as u can c but idk what's the specific name of the model btw ur right about PS3 having hardware emulation and Xbox 360 having software emulation, the PS3 has hardware emulation because it's already in the hard drive and the Xbox 360 has software emulation because you need a hard drive in order 2 hv backwards compatibility and the hard drives have the emulation software for the Xbox 360 which explains it all

  • @COOLPRO195 Wrong. PS3 20/60GB U.S use full hardware (PS2 EE AND GS), PS3 60GB PAL/Early 80GB U.S use both hardware (PS2 EE Chip no longer there) and software. The PS3 in this video is a 60GB E.U model, equivalent to the U.S 80GB, so it's only partial BC, 75% or so. The 360 uses full software for BC, over 50% of original xbox games work. How Crash Twinsanity works i don't get. Since mine will not load my saved game and freezes immediately.

  • @COOLPRO195

    does it works on 360?

  • love your accent

  • @iliekchoclatemilk420 cheers m8, it's british btw :)

  • Comment removed

  • @frenchfriedfrenchmen kl, maybe u should think about taking that $160 deal cos it's cheaper

  • Comment removed

  • @frenchfriedfrenchmen nice 1 m8! hopefully u can make a vid of it someday, if u hv it

  • @DogWood678 £200 would be approx $320

  • Man I gotta buy this for my 360. I think I sold a while back :(

  • @DogWood678 idk how much £200 would b in $'s

  • Comment removed

  • @frenchfriedfrenchmen yh, that's quite a gd deal, mine costed £200

  • Lucky one with your ps3 60gb, best model so far, congrats, and nice comparison.

  • @shooton1 cheers m8, the PS3 60GB model is the best 1 created and all the others r a waste of money and not worth buying, that's just my opinion cos backwards compatibility is very important to me, then you won't have too many consoles in ur house

  • have you play the original ps1 crash games.

  • @fredjerk69 yh, they work perfectly

  • Lucky, I put in my Crash Twinsanity and it freezes at the loading screen before even getting to the main menu.

And yes, I've got an original PS3, it's an 80 gig

  • @ShadowFenix217 u've got the 2007 model of the 80GB version, am I correct?

  • @COOLPRO195 It came bundled with MGS4

  • @ShadowFenix217 kl :)

  • @ShadowFenix217 yea the same happens to me i wonder why that is

  • i think xbox is better.. graphics looks better..

  • By the wasy is that kinect on the top of your tv?

  • @OldClassicGamer actually it's my nintendo wii sensor btw my kinect has been packed away cos we don't hv any gd games 4 it, all we hv is kinect adventures 4 it :P

  • Sorry i was wrong.tag team racing is on psp

  • @OldClassicGamer yh, i've got it on ps2 and psp

  • Dude I just read this vids description and I hate to break it to you but you have a PAL 60gb PS3 which has the same backwards compatibility as the early 80gb NTSC models and it's not as good as the NTSC-US launch 60gb PS3s that came out in 2006...

  • PS2 backwards compatibility SUCKS on PAL 60GBs...I should know I own one. Play Tekken Tag Tournament on it (one of my favourite PS2 games, published by Sony and a LAUNCH PS2 title) and you will not get more than 20fps on it and considering it's a 60fps native game that is fucking bullshit.

I just got myself a NTSC-US 60gb PS3 which is fully backwards compatible...I urge anyone who owns a 60gb PAL to get a NTSC-US 60gb...IF you can get them because in PAL territories they're rare as shit. Peace.

  • @K1NgKourosh then in that case, ur lucky man :)

  • ok then, you dont need to do it.

  • can you compare wrath of cortex pls?

  • @OldClassicGamer it's the backwards compatibility i'm cparing, not the versions of the games

  • @COOLPRO195

than pls compare bacwards compatibility of wrath of cortex

  • @OldClassicGamer i don't think it would make a difference to this backwards compatibility comparison, btw u'll c the backwards compatibility stuff happening anyways

  • damn i wish my ps3 coild play ps2 games.i have ps3 40 gig.well at least its better than fucking slim.fatter models looked more cooler, and painting and plastic was better

  • i wich this was on psp!!!

  • @gaterin1998 innit, it would b gr8 on the psp but it ain't on the psp, that's the problem :P

  • @gaterin1998

i think that there is psp version.not sure

  • @OldClassicGamer no, there ain't, if there was a PSP version would'ave been out in the shops and they're would'ave been youtub videos of it already

  • @OldClassicGamer hope so

  • PS3 Is alot smoother and shaper but the 360 has low framerate and it happens with most of the titles i own like GTA SA is very weird looking like watching a 3d movie with no glasses on. anyway good video im sure it well help people what verson to get and system to play old games

  • @SonikFan97 exactly, this shows proof that the PS3 60GB's BC (same as the 20GB, 80GB the graphics r choppy and less PS2 games work on it and on all the others models it's just PS1 games that r backwards compatible) is better than the Xbox 360 250GB Super Elite's BC (same wiv other Xbox 360s which hv a hard drive on it)

  • @COOLPRO195 WTF are you talking about? The 60gb PS3 PAL version (the one you have) is the same as the first-gen 80gb NTSC ones with only the PS2 graphics chip inside...don't spread false information about things that you clearly know nothing about.

The 20gb NTSC, 60gb NTSC and 60gb NTSC-J consoles all have full PS2 hardware, they are literally the same as an actual PS2 and do not resort to any emulation to make up for the lack of hardware that for example, your PS3 has.

    Get eduacated FFS.

  • @K1NgKourosh FYI i am educated btw i just didn't know that until you told me and i thought the the PS3 models from all regions would have the same amount of BC but i was wrong, you americans are very lucky to have full backwards compatibility and my PS3 60GB PAL is like the PS3 80GB NTSC-U/C 2007 but instead it doesn't have any graphical glitches because i've tried most of my PS2 games on it and they work perfectly

  • @K1NgKourosh another thing to add, would you really think i'll find a PS3 60GB NTSC-U/C in a PAL region (maybe at a carboot sale or something but it would be hard to find)? why did sony do this? that's sort of racist in a way, y'know because sony is giving you americans full PS2 backwards compatible PS3 60GB models where as we europeans only get 70% of it on our ones, that is so unfair :(

  • @COOLPRO195 Dude I feel your pain and I am also living in the UK like you! lol. I got a mint condition 60gb NTSC PS3 from eBay 3 months ago via auction for...£74 which is a bargain. I had to look on eBay EVERY day for almost 3 months until I found one. There's not a single NTSC 60gb PS3 on eBay right now, hasn't been for months but there is a NTSC-J boxed 60gb on there right now. Just look out on ebay every few days and there may be one.

    Good luck.

  • @COOLPRO195 I agree with you, Sony are a bunch of wankers for releasing a watered down 60gb PS3 at launch and on top of that the RRP was £425 which was more than $750!!! So to pay Sony back I jailbroke both my 60gb's and got a Cobra USB dongle which allows PS1/PS2/PS3 backups ALL region free and in ISO form...go google it.

The extra bonus for you right now if you can find one is to get one on firmware 3.55 or below, then you're set...although that is going to be even tougher to find.

    Peace.

  • @K1NgKourosh did you have a PS3 60GB PAL before then bought a PS3 60GB NTSC-U/C because of full backwards compatibility and btw how did you jailbreak your 60GB models because i want to jailbrake my PS3 60GB PAL? btw your right, sony are a load of wankers, if they do this for the PS4 as well then i might consider in getting an Xbox 720 instead

  • @COOLPRO195 Yeah I had a 60gb PAL from launch, loved it for the PS2 BC and then I played games like Tekken Tag and was like wtf, why is this so slow? Did some research years ago, found out why, looked for a good condition 60gb NTSC ever since and then got one.

Jailbreaking is easy as long as you have firmware 3.55 or below, then you can jailbreak with a USB stick and add CFW to it like on PSP otherwise you can jailbreak the latest firmware (3.70) but with some soldering and hardware flashing.

  • @K1NgKourosh which way did you do jailbrake you PS3?

  • @COOLPRO195 First with a custom USB dongle which had to be inserted all the time in the PS3 and then had to turn on whilst pressing the eject key, only for 3.41 firmware. Then I just installed a custom firmware on 3.55 that acted just like an official Sony update. Now I am on Cobra CFW 3.55 and use their awesome dongle, I have a 500gb HDD inside with around 30 PS2 games, 40 PS1 games and 25 PS3 games and I never need to use a disk inside the PS3 to save the wear on my laser.

    Google it man.

  • @K1NgKourosh nice 1 m8 :)

  • you got the same tv as me

  • @Hardc0reGamer92 lol, wot a strange coincidence XD

  • to be fair the PS3's backwards compatinbility is far better than the xbox 360's but let's not be unfair, if i want to play original xbox games that cannot be played on an xbox 360, then i may be an xbox original

  • @KARTMAN769 tbh u made a gd point there, that's y i kept my original xbox but it's packed up in my romm 4 some reason, maybe it's 2 save space in living room or something
