DONT BUY XENTEC HID'S, THY ARE JUNK. I bought a set of hi/lo beams, they have flickered since day one. Contacted EBAY seller, he sent me second WHOLE new kit. Second brand new kit flickered also. All wiring is done 100% correct grounded straight to battery with relay kit. Finally i had to file a complaint with ebay and am still waiting for a decision. DONT BUY FROM ORANGEMIKA OR 4NDEEE. he is the same seller with multiple selling accounts. He blocks allcommunication through eBay XENTEC IS SHIT
nice ride! i'm saving to buy the fog lights, lol because my truck don't have it, quick question! i got a 50w hid kit and when i hook it up lights didn't come on i can just hear a clicking noise every 2 seconds coming out from the controller, any ideas what can be wrong??? please help me!!!
How does your relay kit include the LOW beams ??? my relay kit just allows the high beam to work i think.......theres a prong missing in the plug.
i have an 05 dodge ram like yours and i put 6k hid's in and they are stock on low but when you turn on HI is when you get the bluish tint, but low beam is equal to stock or maybe worse??? wtf i'm very pissed. i just did the plug n play
did you have any flickering problems with these at all? I had tried an apexcone kit and the high beams didnt work at all and the lows would flicker and shut off while I was driving and I'd have to do a panic on/off with my lights until they came on and i got home haha
i have a set of 8000k headlights. i have tried several ways of installation and nothing works. can you tell me what u may done to get yoursto work? Is there a trick to it all?
its impossoble to make hid work for rams lol, but you use h1 bulb, and that projector is for halogen, but still better than no projector, it kinda makes a cut off line but still alot of glarre
Do you Have the stock headlights or did you change to projected lamps? I heard that people thought those were illegal if you did do that o well looks great thanks!
Can you please tell me what kit you used and how did you intall them aswell as the foglight and if you have any problems with flickering lights when truck is on?
no flickering at all..although i did install a relay on the headlights a few days later which did make them strobe so i removed the relay and theyre fine.
I heard that the 8000k lights made it a little hard to see when it's raining or when the roads are wet...Have you had any problems seeing at night on wet roads? i'm lookin to get some for my 05' ram
if you look carefully, theres a lot of water in the gutters of the road. it actually rained all day and was pouring right before. im really happy with my 8000k HIDs. and rain isnt a problem either. sure theyre not as bright as 6000k's but its not very noticable, if at all. i mainly went with 8000k's because i didnt want to look like i just had really bright lights, but i wanted it to look like HIDs and 8000k is not mistook for an asshole with highbeams on.
So you converted to H1?
