Also the sway effect is wayyyy overdone. I don't know about you but when I hold a firearm it sure as shit don't look like that. Even after holding breath, "tactical breathing" is involved to reduce sway as well. (same mistake in the COD series) Other than that you are really on the right track.
@TheTeaBagTeam I should remove the Insurgency reference, as it is old and no longer true. Until you mentioned the 'Copyrighted sourcemod', I had forgotten about it.

The surroundings, physics and shadows are pretty good, but then again they are built into the game engine - to be honest your player is pretty poor :/

Looks nice. One thing though, if you ever do ship this in some game, add an option to disable it. Some people get literally sick and dizzy looking at swaying like that in games, me included.

I have custom weapons and characters which i modeled as well and would love to get them working in udk. I could give you a few of my packages, were talking 10 gigs in total of static meshes that I created as a thank you.
@Tyhsol It looks like he just imported his own model into a pre-existing map. The map looks professional. The first-person model is of sub-par quality. It has very few poly's and the textures are low res.
hate to say this but just play America's Army 3. It is free don't worry. But it uses UDK. It was made by the US Army and the implement real data into their weapons. So if you want to get a feel for some new guns just play it for a little bit. There is only the M16, M4A1, M16+320 Grenade launcher attachment, M249 Saw, and my personal favorite....the M16DMR adjustment.
@BigdogWitBigdog, @Chunk3yman - remember, this is far from final. I'd love to get more experience with more firearms, but alas, I live in Australia, where restrictions on firearms are great and many. Saying that, please do not turn this into a gun law debate.

In real life you don't sway that much when out of breath. And you don't sway that much normally. Use ArmA II as a example on how much your gun should sway.

It refers to matching the viewpoint to your avatars eye location, rather then simply having a floating gun & arms.

RavenShield was released in 2003 making the model roughly 8 years old.
It was also designed as a third person mesh, not to be viewed at close range from a first person perspective.
The map is included with UDK.
The weapon is from... Vegas2?
Something like that.
Its not about the graphics, but the code and concepts behind it all.
Seems a lot of people missed that... oh well.
