If we download movies and games first, I think it would actually speed up the sale. Let's say I download a movie for free or watch it on a site for free and I liked it. You guys can't be 100% supportive of torrent sites though...if they take over the entertainment industry, then we won't have an industry because no artists will receive money....make sense you lazy cheap assholes? I use the site on a regular basis, but would have no issue if it became illegal. The music industry sucks, and if good artists were paid then we'd have better music.

@craparoniandcheese Artists will still make money from the tours, concerts, etc even with these free download sites. You don't have to worry about them starving. The difference will be they will make $500,000 instead of $1,000,000.
Shutting down Pirate Bay is another way off ripping people off so that they have more money in their pockets.

The laws in our country are not severe and allow a average citizen to freely and activly use p2p networks and torrent sites. The next big thing i would like to see is complete free file sharing symbiosis all around the world. That kind of structure surely has a positive manifestation related to the value of files but also on the "battle for quality" over the "battle for the market" princlipes.
