I agree that this woman has a great figure but I'm fed up with skinny bashing. Women have insecurities at all sizes and shapes and there are many women out there getting breast and booty implants to achieve what they conceive to be an unattainable curvy look displayed by women like Christina Hendricks and Beyonce. Being skinny doesn't make you a bitch and being voluptuous doesn't make you a 'real woman'.

It's not insane for her to feel this way - I'm a healthy size 10 with an hourglass figure and I still hate looking at my body in the mirror :-/ If you're not "perfect" to begin with, you'll never see yourself that way. Because I was overweight through my teens I will probably continue to see myself that way, no matter how thin I get. So my heart goes out to all these women who can't see their true beauty. Doesn't help that we have all these skinny models nowadays.

Even when I weighed 145 and you could see my ribs, I still saw myself as chunky and cellulite legs thanks to being a chunky kid, as well as seeing images of perfect women in movies and magazines. I really feel for a lot of women! thankfully since becoming pregnant I've really started to accept myself.

I agree, but you have to realise that not every woman out there will think "Someone has a worse body than me" and suddenly feel better, because most will think "Look at how gorgeous people think that model is..." and assume that model is the "ideal woman". She really can't be blamed for it, but thankfully Gok is doing a wonderful job with women's confidence and making them realise how lucky they really are for the bodies they've got.

Don't be so harsh, Blakey. This isn't about how others see her-- it's about how she sees herself. She isn't crying because she wants attention; women like her genuinely believe that they are ugly, because the images of the 'perfect' woman they are shown are surreal and airbrushed; they aren't compared to real women, and don't realise that they are beautiful themselves. She thinks she has genuine reasons.
It makes me sick too, but just because I'm so angry that society reduces women to this.

Why are people getting all hung up on the whole 'she looks good, she doesn't deserve to be on the show' - this show isn't about changing the woman's body so that it will come to look good, it's about changing the woman's perception of her body so that she can see beyond what she thinks is there. It's about helping women see what's *really* there. Of course she looks good, she just doesn't realise that.
