  • great to hear this again , good to see the two ladies of my life back in the dasy lol they where sexy as hell .

  • If you are male, have a pulse and appreciate stunningly attractive women, tell me don't lust after the face at 2:28.

  • ...She even picks up all the flowers and plush animals directly from the fans after finishing the show, ...How Sweet!!! :)

  • I'm in love with stevie in this vid

  • is that bob welch playing acouistic?

  • 1:45

  • how come every video i watch on youtube in the comments something comes up about justin bieber??

  • @mytaylor414 because of you :(

  • @Aleixpb2 because of me ? lol

  • Compare Mick Fleetwood to the Muppets' Animal at 5:15. Totally Cool !!! I REALLY LOVE this video. So much PASSION! Thanks for posting it.

  • P.S. Patch: Sorry, I opinded the Guitar Solo at 2.37 and Drumbeats at 3.09 + 3.11 at the Vid from Uploader 'TheGreatestRockSongs'.

  • Stevie Nicks is one hot tomato.

  • Um nothing profound......Stevie Nicks is beautiful!

  • why? gaga her props...fine ..stop comparing......f/m tragic band...gaga...people made fun of me in private school..sorry shes ugly too, just a copy cat

  • Only one Word: AWESOME!!!!! Still rocks! Fleetwood Mac 4EverandEver!

  • I like Mick Fleetwood's drumming.

  • If you appreciate music you love this track. Buckingham is one of the greatest musicians of our time. Enjoy the talent and emotion in this track. Fleetwood mac are all freaks.

  • A note to everyone: If you don't hear modern music that you like, dig deeper. You have the entire freaking internet to find great artists who have sensibilities like yours but you sit at home and dump instead.

Even lame stuff can lead you to discoveries. A few years ago, I suffered through "Young Folks" by Peter, Bjorn, & John. In the related videos was "You! Me! Dancing!" by Los Campesinos, which was a great blast of Springsteen chorus with glockenspiel. Don't get stunted, do your work!

  • cant believe he was pickin that with his fingers unreal, a master !

  • @versioncity1 Fuck yeah!! Lol

  • I saw this concert in Oakland a few days before/ Love Stevie in that top hat and Lyndsey in his own way!

  • What a load of bollocks about music being better back in XXXX.

has it occured to you that there was loads of rubbish back then as well; its just that it has faded away and what is left is the more long standing stuff? There are loads of great artists around now, but you just have to wave through the rubbish to find them, same as back then.

That all said I'd be more than happy to snort coke out of stevie nicks asshole.

  • @versioncity1 True words. There is loads of rubbish no matter what era you choose to talk about. That's the good thing about time. It goes by, and the rubbish pretty much filters itself out. This day and age, I wish the junk would sort itself out faster. The good bands these days are few and far between. However, yes, they are out there. Time will tell us the truth, when 30 years from now we are still listening on our obsolete CD players and iPods :)

  • @versioncity1

This music is b4 my time, but I still prefer it to the shite we have now. I used to buy music every other day on average, but I can't remember the last time I bought an album. Don't get me wrong, I love bands like the Doves and Elbow, but most of the music out now is fucking wank.

  • blueeyes9591 said it all.

  • anything from the 60's 70's & 80's is far better than anything todays so called musicians can produce

  • It's mild chaos on the stage! I LOVE IT!

  • Forget about Mick being coked up, Buckingham is wasted!

  • @Justinbacca Super wasted, lol.

  • THE ultimate brake up song

  • THE ultimate brake up song

  • I saw them in '77, they were great Live, as most bands were back then. It was a great great time for music and Rock n Roll. Concerts back then were so cool, everyone passin around a dube, just relaxing. We didnt give a shit what they wore, how many fireworks they had,we wanted to hear them play and sing, which they really could do back in those days. The 60's & 70's prob produced more timeless and epic music than any other. Thats why 40 yrs later, its still being played

  • Rosemary forgive me still looking for you miss you so Gerard xx

  • Stevie = dreamy.

  • lindsey was so handsome with his guitar and beautiful eyes<33

  • @HamboneDeluxe

Actually, Justin Bieber can play the guitar, piano, drums and trumpet, amongst others I believe. He has done so before during dongs and plays them well. I don't know about Lady Gaga but she could have a talent for instruments. Perhaps you should do a little research before you bash popular figures to look cool; especially if you are going to try to give yourself an air of superiority by saying that you only have old storage mediums for music (barring digital).

  • @s0larflare pffffffft of course I am not bashing digital media at all. And I'm not just "saying" I have only old storage mediums. That is simply a fact. 490 cassette tapes, 341 records (assorted sizes), 114 8-track tapes, and all the equipment to play them. Allow me to elaborate: A typical mp3 is worth NOTHING. It has no resale value. However, these "old storage mediums" can be worth quite a bit. I own a few records worth over 500 bucks. No "air of superiority". BTW Bieber lip syncs lol.

  • A timeless treasure & Stevie Nicks is beautiful -

  • Isn't it silly that all of a sudden Lindsay Buckingham's moves and body language was all Talking Headish punk-rockabilly spasms ... just because it was the 80s and trends had changed.

  • @lidbjork I totally agree. I prefered his usual style.

  • God, if looks could kill at 2:30

  • 3 times better as michael jacksen

  • Mes 20 ans .....

  • love the end with mick and lyndsey just jammin

  • 4:21 creepy dance ftw!!! :D

  • ego and drugs....................what a mess

  • @rwk1983 but good music

  • Best song ever...? Think so! ;-/)

  • This is such a great song!!!

  • I fell in love with Stevie Nicks the very first time I saw her. She had legs that went half a mile up past the split in her skirt and a face like heaven. Enough to make a young lad creaam his Levis. Mick was a mean looker too!

  • Whose the Idiot with the Tambourine.

    Completely ruins this song.

Suppose the only good thing was her indirect involvement in the writing of this song.

    Song is AWESOME, for sure

  • @Snibo WHO'S not whose, idiot.

  • @MuchoKiller

    Thanks Mom.

You're so Anal.....although I guess that's what makes you so good at Butt-F*cking.

  • @Snibo :/ wow! i guess you are really going your own way on that one! :D

  • I still, to this day, am astonished by what those two are able to do when they perform together.

Oh, and the new front lineup is kinda cool, too. ;)

  • If you think of the all-time rock bands, the truly iconic bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, the Beatles, etc., they all had to deal with internal turmoil and trials along their rise to superstardom. It's like their incredible music was birthed from their disputes and problems. Tough times for them produced great and historic music for us! Glad to see they survived it all.

  • Rocky Radio.......... Steve nicks can not take this song, IT BELONGS ALL TO LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM! Does anyone agree??

  • loving lindsay : )

  • the coke sucked the soul out of this song. Mick looks tired.

  • love FM but they were on some serious drugs here

  • There is no more music like this these days.

  • Is Mick coked up or is Mick coked up??

  • @drumbandit84 I think the coke is Mick'd up!

  • Stevie Nicks is the greatest singer from womans

  • any one feel it taking ya back, i was a baby but thanks to big dick clinton ... she sang wow think luwinsky forgot a romeo & juliet or cohiba ????????????/ bet slevie is something to reckon

  • THANK YOU for this outstanding post. you seem to understand more about what comprises a great PERFORMANCE than most. they really blew it up here. tight as drum. a real treat. THANKS. rick.

  • 29 people can go their own way

  • Rocky Radio........ It's all Lindsey Buckingham on this song, Stevie Nicks got a little backup singing. Looks like this one belong to Linsey!

  • How have I never seen this?...

  • Two of the finest guitar players to ever lay fingers upon strings are Lindsay Buckingham and Robbie Robertson. They are of very similar stature, both have a strong underlying humility and parallel each others driving crescendos. Finally, each display a Matador's smile, but cupid's arrows once took their toll on vulnerable hearts as big as a bull.

  • i was there!!!!!!!!!!

  • I always kinda thought Fleedwood Mac were Dire Striats but with singers.....thats not a bad thing to be.

  • Hearkens to a time when music was real... beautiful

  • I was there!!!........................I wish!!!

  • Stevie Nicks was awesome.... bands like the Fleetwood Mac were REAL....not the fake radio-friendly crap we get today... real musicians rooted in blues... great singers singing great melodies, great songs played by great bands... anyone noticed that no bands sings GREAT rock melodies anymore??? ...the only exception I can think of is of course "Foreverland" by Belladonna, and no wonder they got nominated for a Grammy with it... any other bands you can suggest?...

  • @astridxxy

As much as I like Rumours and Tango in the Night, Fleetwood Mac are just about the most radio-friendly band to ever come about.

Bands like this practically inspired punk to go in the opposite direction.

  • @astridxxy shut up. were sick of reading this just watch the video instead of bitching about todays music.

  • @astridxxy It's not like every band was this great. Some stood up.. just like now. Internet makes it possible for everyone to be famous, unfortunately.

  • @astridxxy Well I was blessed to see the concert just before this in Oakland and she wore the same hat and cool dress. I fell again for her that night! Lyndsey was so awesome and so underated.

  • @astridxxy "anyone noticed that no bands sings GREAT rock melodies anymore???"

True that brother! Gone are the days of the great rock kings... It's such a shame that douches like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber get to rule the world withouth even really picking up any instrument at all. I don't own any music that isn't on cassette, vinyl, or 8-track (except for digital copies of my albums, recorded directly from source) LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL!!!

PS: I suggest Dire Straits, Boston, The Police, etc.

  • @HamboneDeluxe thats because they are all trying to copy something but you cant copy this mate, origanal ALWAYS.

  • @HamboneDeluxe Lady Gaga is a classically trained pianist, DAMMIT!!!

And I'm not a fan of Bieber on any level, but he too can play multiple instruments. Do your research before making sweeping generalizations.

  • @IAmPlaysWithSquirrel correction: Bieber can play 2 or 3 chords on the guitar and thats it

  • @IAmPlaysWithSquirrel

    you sir..are a idiot

I award you no points and may GOD have mercy on your soul.

  • @IAmPlaysWithSquirrel

Lady Gaga is a "classically trained" pianist. You know how many times I've heard that term raped. I gave away a 20k piano to a "concert pianist" -- if she could play Chopin's E minor prelude without fucking up on the easy parts -- I would be amazed.

This is real music Gaga is s**** if she can play the piano, why doesn't she so us something. I am the unfortunate uncle of 3 nieces that lover her -- dear lord.

  • @HamboneDeluxe mac write the for stevie but she had moved on in her life and was with the drummer when this shot was done....

  • @HamboneDeluxe

    Your right

  • @astridxxy Stereophonics

  • It musta sucked for Stevie to sing this song...... That woulda been VERY tough

  • @tayb30 why i dont know much about them

  • Thanks very much but I am curious about Mick and Stevie. I know the Lindsey/Stevie history.

  • @hughj34 Okay, yes Stevie & Mick had an affair prior to this tour, but it was years prior, and ended years prior. This song was not written about Stevie & Mick, it was about Stevie dumping Lindsey. Tusk was Lindsey's angry song about Stevie & Mick, and they had to "edit" it a bit for the live performances because it was a little harsh. Makes a great live song now though. If you think this song is bad, what about You Make Loving Fun? I always thought that one was the worst by far (for John).

  • @hughj34 I forgot to mention that Stevie & Mick always do that in concert at verious times. I don't think it has anything to do with the song. Stevie only has a tembourine to play, so she has to do something when she isn't singing, and after the bumping/shoving incident, she and Lindsey were keeping their distance from each other on stage during the 80s.

  • @user2525able Thanks much for all the info and insights. I think the intense relationships between band members made them better hey? At least from a creative standpoint as many of their best songs were inspired by relationship issues (i.e your great point on Christine's anti-John song "you make loving fun"). One more question: what is this "bumping/shoving" incident you refer to? Never heard about that.

  • @hughj34 Well, Stevie definitely knows what buttons to push on Lindsey, and during one of their shows, she did or said something during the show that apparently rubbed Lindsey the wrong way, and he either bumped/stumbled into her, shoved her, etc. (depending on who is telling the story), and then he walked off the stage. This is during a concert, and there are 30,000+ people there. So Stevie & Christine go after him, and the three of them had to be pulled apart by their bodyguards backstage.

  • @user2525able - how do you know this. I know Lindsey deliberately bumps Stevie out of the way in Sisters of the Moon (Mirage Tour) but didn't see them walk off the stage. In fact, the song continues with all of them playing/singing. Check it out.

  • @Stocky607 This wasn't something I saw in a Youtube vid, just something I heard or read one of them say in an interview. I don't even remember what tour it was, but the story was related by more than one band member and denied by none, so I took it to be true. It was apparently quite a scene backstage, because Stevie and Christine were really piling on Lindsey pretty bad, and they all had their own bodyguards by this point, so it was a pull-them-apart-and-try-not-to-damage-them sort of thing.

  • @user2525able You are right, must of read it, here is the quote from Stevie, Rolling Stone Mag, 10-30-97: ""We had some kind of fight and he came over- might have kicked me, did something to me, and we stopped the show. He went off, and we all ran at breakneck speed back to the dressing room to see who could kill him first. Christine got to him first, and I got to him second- the bodyguards were trying to get in the middle of all of us."

  • @Stocky607 Forgot to mention that I'm fairly sure the incident wasn't recorded, because if it was, it would be everywhere. Video cameras were very large and sat on your shoulder back in the 70s, so the whole audience wouldn't have had one strapped to their belt.

  • mick fleetwood, great drummer....

  • I'm curious about the intense dynamic starting at 2:40 between Mick and Stevie? I've heard they they had an affair prior to his tour. It might be rather appropriate that they re-live it in this manner while Lindsey sings this Stevie break-up song. Any insights?

  • @hughj34 lindsey wrote this song about Stevie nicks and their break up , they were an item before they joined fleetwood mac more than an affair . Lindsey wanted a committed relationship, presumably marriage , Stevie didnt so they split up. hence the line packing up, shacking up, that's all you want to do. its only a few years ago they started speaking again from what i gather.

  • Mick Fleetwood was WILD - LOL!

  • Stevie Nicks was beautiful and talented, but Southpark did get it right - she sounds like a goat bleating sometimes, whats up with that?

  • I've repeated this video about 5 times now, it's gotta be one of the best performances ever. Never been a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan but this just blows my mind. 3:00-3:25 is out of this world, I think im in love with Stivie Nicks. Hardly knew who she was before i saw this. Ace upload!

  • Like greatish, eh?

  • God is Stevie Nicks a doll!

  • watch?v=46CNp89_52Y

  • my favorite part of all the go your own way videos is that lady on the tambourine. They gave her that so she would probably quite whining about only being a back up for this song! MORE COW BELL!

By the way one of my favorite songs of all time.

  • @brownkv081 hmmm, well Stevie Nicks did way more than backup for the group, you obvisouly know absolutely nothing about Fleetwood Mac & what a fabulous group they were & still are...she was the one who corelated the tambourine into the stage performances to give it more of a beat that was faint but you could still appericate.

  • @jesgalchick12 could careless buds. It looks hilarious.

  • What year was this video taken?

  • @MrStarbucks10001 1982 in Los Angeles, I believe.

  • @airsofter143

    Correct during the Mirage Tour

  • If any one wants to know, at 3:19, this is the exact moment I fell in love with Stevie Nicks. She looks like an absolute angel in this video. At 16 years old, I had never seen anyone as beautiful as her. Gotta love the 80's.

  • @azgocats

    stevie nicks i love her

  • Comment removed

  • @azgocats 3:19, I hear ya.

  • @azgocats Me too

  • @azgocats Well I was in love with Stevie since 1977 and when I finally saw them in the Oakland concert just before this LA one was almost identical. I have the music from the 1982 concert in Oakland and a cool picture of Stevie i took at the concert with a 400mm lens. She is my angel.

  • @azgocats i totally agree 100% she is gorgeous and her voice is amazin

  • bass beat is killer. great audio.

    thnx for upload

  • Is there a dvd of this concert?

  • What is the first sentence he is saying (I am Dutch)?

  • @vakantieland4 He says "Lovin' you, isn't the right thing to do. How can I change things that I feel?"

  • @airsofter143 Thank you for your quick answer. But what I

really mean are the first words he is saying in the mice before singing

    the song.

  • @vakantieland4 I vaguely remember him to just thanking the crowd for coming out and they were great and all that Jazz...I dont know. Im not about to watch it again :P

  • @vakantieland4 he is saying " Virginia, thanks a lot"

  • @SpikeyBoy25 Too bad their in Los Angeles....

  • she is a legend on that we agree :D

  • Mick Fleetwood freaks the hell out of me :S

  • i was wondering where my hat went...

  • You can't beat Lindsey!! The best in the world and a great human being.

  • from a YOUNG prospective music is evualiated in instant gratification ! replay reveals deeper values, life 's fleeting duration is a short time education !

  • Lindsey Buckinham is so talented, a true star. Great song

  • uber awesome.. i didnt notice the overdubbing if there is

  • wow, they are all pissed at each other in this, I love the part where he's looking at stevie, and lindsy is in the background

  • stevie nicks when she could still sing...

  • @ziggy1546 What are you talking about? Stevie still sounds amazing.

  • @stalrunner you tube any Rhiannon video between 1975-1980 and then you tube her singing Rhiannon in the present. Yikes!!

  • @ziggy1546 I have "Live in Boston" from 2004. She sounds a little aged, yes, but it is still pleasing to me.

  • Stevie is a hot fox

  • Sounds a bit dodgy, apart from the chorus, that sounds like The 'Mac (which is what I think they should have called themselves during this period, but that's just me). Too much synth, but thats the 80's for yer. And what's with the hat, Buckingham? Sorry, but the '77 live version is still the best.

  • Lindsey is so hot. Still is. Mmmmmm older men....

  • @1Camille2 haha i know what u mean

  • I just always wanted Lindsey and Stevie to get together! Can't believe that they didn't! NUTS!

  • Thanks, Airsofter, fella! Thanks by sharing this little gem with us. Forget the usual turds: Like fungus on cheese, it's kinda unavoidable, hahaaahaha!

  • Nothing like the MAC~!!!

  • Straight up emotion in this song lot of memories from listening to this song over the years.

  • 2:28 stevie's so cute

  • Is it just me or did anyone else notice the shoe thrown at 4:47?

  • dude in the hat is on coke

  • @PHXMASTER I think you'll find they were all on coke lol, could you play like that while high? i couldn't lol

  • @naypats I wouldnt personaly know what it feels like to be high on coke lolz

  • @PHXMASTER lol well, i didn't specify what you would be high on, could be gasoline for all i care lol

  • @PHXMASTER oh I also wanted to say that the dude in the hat is Lindsey Buckingham and he wrote this song.

  • @PHXMASTER I think the WHOLE Band luved to party! Wouldn't you, if you have that many resources???

  • emotion packed and mick looked out his face on the drum solo at the end .........fantastic

  • Mick has Overkill in his eyes!!

  • At the end: is Lindsey asking Mick to stop the drumming?

  • Around 3.30 I love the active way Stevie is singing. Very intense and loud, though this song is about her. I admire her for it. I'd rather hit Lindsey very hard on the head with his own guitar (no, just kidding).

  • TY! Great version that I have never seen. K! Next!

  • love this concert, Lindsey on guitar and vocals can not be topped. and of course Christine is smoking hot. then there is that little witch no one cares about.

  • Stevie Nicks is just a phenomenal looking woman...

  • 2:30 = wow

  • @roryburnand - yea if looks could kill!!!

  • I love to watch Lindsey's fingerpicking style.

  • @epistte Me too. Influenced my playing a lot.

  • @epistte me to! specially on the acoustic guitar. I can spend forever looking at his hands playing big love. it's amazing!
