Just so you know when this was happening the ouija was a board game, 2nd best selling game in USA i believe and it wasn't until the late seventies early eighties the ouija board became synonymous with demonic spirits. @WelcomeToMyChanne1 One does not need science to prove the existance of something outside of science. All i have seen is a film that we landed on the moon, but it's a well known fact we did. I can't prove it with anything more than a film that could've been manipulated. Much of what we know in science is theory; to make ghosts a scientific fact I think would be impossible, but I know they exist because of what I and countless others have seen or experienced.

Quantum mechanics deals with theories and probabilities of particles, not scientific fact. Read Amit Goswami's "The Quantum Activist" as it is truly enlightening. @Yourwierdneighbor I speak from experience, not to argue. If you have this problem, the Lord's Prayer is a solution. I'm not particularly religious btw. I have no empirical evidence to offer b/c these battles are not about proof in a physical court of law, they are spiritual. @norseleague Thank you for understanding where I am coming from, this is beyond any philosophical debate if you are experiencing it. I have studied many religions and I understand the common roots out of Africa. I had a period where I had evil people in my life passing for friends who were sent to destroy me and bring me down. I started to have problems at night being strangled, held down, children giggling, things sitting on the bed etc. Prayer stopped it immediately.

I greatly sympathize for Doris and her family of the brutal horror that she and her children had endured. Being abused by a unknown entity had to have been and still is, something that is unforgetable for such victims to have to live with for the rest of their lives. @reinarosamunda spiritual parasites are the worst because it's not like a physical one where you can go to the doctor and it's taken care of easily. from my experience, it is a sad state of affairs where a person either manages to 'split off' that part or medicated enough so that they don't feel it so they can function, or the cycle just follows to the end conclusion, usually when the person has nothing much left to feed off of anymore. but people do this to others too, not just dead spirits.

Just so you know when this was happening the ouija was a board game, 2nd best selling game in USA i believe and it wasn't until the late seventies early eighties the ouija board became synonymous with demonic spirits. I can't prove it with anything more than a film that could've been manipulated. @Yourwierdneighbor I speak from experience, not to argue. If you have this problem, the Lord's Prayer is a solution. I'm not particularly religious btw. I have no empirical evidence to offer b/c these battles are not about proof in a physical court of law, they are spiritual. There is no "Lord" doing special chores, there are battles and forces that might be called to your side if you understand how to access those positive energies. I have nothing to prove to you.

@norseleague Thank you for understanding where I am coming from, this is beyond any philosophical debate if you are experiencing it. I have studied many religions and I understand the common roots out of Africa. I had a period where I had evil people in my life passing for friends who were sent to destroy me and bring me down. I started to have problems at night being strangled, held down, children giggling, things sitting on the bed etc. Prayer stopped it immediately.

I also had experiences of strange knockings on tables right behind me when sitting. And doors shaking. Never seen a ghost though.
My dad however saw my neighbour's dead father, wave at my dad. He was strolling through the garden. Apparently he used to walk the garden every day regularly. My dad described this man perfectly, though never having met him.

I live in a place that I know for a fact someone died in.Sometime when I am taking a nap on the couch it feels like something wakes me up or touches my nose or another part of my face abd it wakes me up real quick. I never feel any fear, it is just annoying to be woken up right before you fall asleep.I always felt these things were interdemensional.Death is simply passing over to the next dimension.

my bed is very heavy and it moved quite a lot i sat bolt up as i was shocked as to what this could have been, a litle while later , when i tried to snuggle down again ,i could feel the duvet being pulled of me from my top edge. i was terrified out of my skin and grabbed my duvet as hard as i could , then it stipped, it started pulling again so i screamed fuck off ,it stopped, so i hid under my duvet , my heart was pounding away for ages.

Excellent, informative piece of footage. I've been interested in this story since i first saw the film back in the 80's-Of all the 'based on a true story' horror movies this one chilled me the most and has played on my mind til this day. In an interview with Brian Harris (Doris Bithers son), i was sad to read that she passed away in 1995 of pulmonary arrest. I understand that the hauntings followed her and her family to several other addresses.

I have people who can vouch for me friends and family teachers and the like. I refuse to be sat down and told what to think and offered explanations on why I and everyone else around me is insane and completely wrong.I know how you feel, some people are very lucky right?! If you observe the pseudo-skeptic phenomenon you will eventually find cases where they don't have the answers so they actually make them up. Don't ever trust skeptics only listen to the person making the claim then make up YOUR OWN mind. They can't really tell you what you don't and do know. They simply can't.

I greatly sympathize for Doris and her family of the brutal horror that she and her children had endured. Being abused by a unknown entity had to have been and still is, something that is unforgetable for such victims to have to live with for the rest of their lives. The violation of not only being physically attacked by an unknown entity, but emotionaly and mentaly, being forced to suffer with being totally stripped of her dignity and respect. There are real people who care & understand.

It didn't go away, they lost all contact with her. They don't even know if she is still alive or if these Entities actually killed her in the end. They haven't a clue, she left with her family and has not been heard from again even after numerous attempts to track her. She just disappeared.

@jublywubly Since Sightings didn't mention what if anything was done, I'm assuming the movie that showed the "controlled experiment" where the entity broke all the liquid helium and then seemed to be trapped inside until it shattered the whole thing was just for dramatic effect. The one character in the movie that disgusted me was the psychiatrist who kept trying to bully her into admitting it was she doing this to herself. That's why I have no faith in psychiatrists!

@reinarosamunda spiritual parasites are the worst because it's not like a physical one where you can go to the doctor and it's taken care of easily. from my experience, it is a sad state of affairs where a person either manages to 'split off' that part or medicated enough so that they don't feel it so they can function, or the cycle just follows to the end conclusion, usually when the person has nothing much left to feed off of anymore. but people do this to others too, not just dead spirits.

@Kilooscarromeo It started when i was 21 went everywhere with me.It stopped 12 years later & was replaced with a enough pain to leave me mostly incapacitated i'm on 150mgs of morphine daily.13 years of pain i have been trying to get to the bottom of this for a very long time & now it seems that my tests were misinterpreted & indeed have the symtoms of epilisy or atleast parcial.what is known is that incidents don't last very long it is rare to have anything occur more than a year.

In over 4000 cases that Dr. Taff has investigated the common denominator is that epilisy & seisures are known & as soon as the individual is treated the occurances stop. Contrary to what may reports state, Carla Moran is not Doris’ real name. That was the fictional character from the movie “The Entity” that was based on the Doris Bither story. Doris never lived in San Bernardino, CA.
After leaving Carson, CA, she left for Texas and then came back to the Lawndale and Torrance, CA cities. a few miles south of Culver City.
Doris Bither passed away in 1995, from Pulmonary Arrest.

One is that creaks and other noises (floorboards ect) have the same resonance frequency as the human eye.
If you press on your eye what do you see? Little lights, these are from the pressure.
Creaking in floorboards can set off these lights and if your already freaked out from being in a creepy old house and you see a flash out the corner of your eye its not hard to imagine where ghost stories come from...
