  • I like that you don't need to wire to the old sockets they only serve to hold the lamp in place

saves a lot of time but will only work with lamps that are the same brand????

  • LED tube is inside driver,so it don't need ballast or starter any more.Just make sure there have power in the two side of tube, than the LED tube will work. Also,we know,it is free to change LED tube in Japn, the goverment will pay the money, but if need to hire some labor to remove the ballast and starter. So LED tube--don't need to remove ballast and starter came out.If is up to your fixture. If it is new project, normal LED TUBE good.I stay in factory do LED tube for some time, anyquestion, contactme

  • great video

  • these tubes poss great danger since one end is live when you have one side pluged into the socket. Right now, the one end driver is populous.

  • @ledasled One end driver can be changed in to two end driver are have been used widely ,the only thing you need to do is remove the ballast and connect to the input voltage directly, and it's more easy for the G13 end cap to operate!

  • @ledasled no the pins on the lamp have no power they only hold them in place the lamps plug in to the driver with wires

  • where can you get these led lights?

  • i need help installing one of my led lights write back if intrested in helping and if it works in my home i 'll buy some led lights

  • do you have an email I may send to.

  • @newteknj1 Sure... rick at iedubulbs. com Thanks!

  • @LEDuBulbs

Genial. La verdad el futuro que está muy próximo en cuestiones de iluminación es el uso y perfeccionismo de LED´S sustituyendo a la lámpara flourescente. Pero algun día después vendra el turno de la fibra óptica.

  • if this is not a UL classified product this will void the ul mark in the fixture

  • UL is a very important part of the LED light bulbs we manufacture. Here are the key points to note:

    - All electrical components of our LED tube bulbs design is 100% UL Certified.

    - Since you DO NOT rewire the fixture with our bulb retrofit, there is no possible way to void the UL on your current fixture.

  • 1 You use a through board DIP led package. These were made to be used as indicator lights. The Doe Caliper reports has many warning issued about this type led package. ( Google...Doe Caliper)

  • The DIP style chip is featured in this video due to it's age, but we do offer it in either a DIP or SMD version today at the exact same price levels. We do find some customers still prefer the DIP versions.

  • Ok, being picky I know, but why is it that the caption says to twist the blue wires together and then the brown, but the guy in the video is doing it the other way round?????

Gave me a Lethal Weapon moment, to cut the blue wire or not cut the blue wire?????

  • Where can I buy this? I am a homeowner.

  • there some vids on youtube that dont use these external drivers, does it make a difference?

  • Yes - a BIG difference. Drivers generate heat. When older style bulbs have the internal driver design, all the heat gets trapped inside the tube causing the phosphorescent coating on the led diodes to degrade much faster. That why other brands only boast up to 50,000 hours. The installation with the external drivers goes about 50% faster. There is no need to rewire an old fixture this way.

  • I rather like these bulbs. My workplace switched to these from pumped sodium. Knocked our electric bill by about 15G a month. Yeah, we have a lot of lights for the building.

  • Great product. saved alot of energy and ordered more. Keep up the good work to the makers.

  • I have installed this product to try I only installed one. What a great product and will be ordering more for sure.

The brightness of the bulb is bright and you would never know it was an led.

    Great product and great service.

  • Wow, that is great news! The only reason we can even offer our 7 year warranty on these led tube bulbs is because of that external LED driver. Without that the bulb would just get too hot inside. Happy installing!

  • I want to confirm whether it comes in 3000Lms and the price of 1600Lms of 6 watts LED?

Why cant we join as a forum to promote LED Flouresent tube light s to save energy and planet.

  • Sir: with all respect. Do you have a UL mark on these products, yes or no. I am so tired of all the misleading claims made by companies like yours. This has the same design tube as the 1st generation led tubes seen in 2007 except for the external driver. I know it very well. This is one of the worst examples I have seen so far of a LED retrofit product in 2011. Here's why

  • 1 You use a through board DIP led package. These were made to be used as indicator lights. The Doe Caliper reports has many warning issued about this type led package. ( Google...Doe Caliper)

  • 2) You offer a 7 year warranty and that would be 61,320.00 hours. Most chip manufacturers offer a L70 at 50,000 hours as recommended by DOE. You offer 1 extra year but show 10% less than normal in your statement on your website you stated L60. So is it 7 years or 4 years. What chip set are you using.

    3) I looked it up. Your product is not UL classified so it voids the fixture UL mark when installed. If you have a IEUQ UL classified product what is the number

  • @newteknj1 The great news is there is no voiding your current fixture because there is no altering of the fixture itself when installing our bulb. As seen in the video above you simply wire around all of the electrical component of your fixture and end up using it as a glorified UL listed bulb holder at that point.

  • 4) you claim a 90 CRI. Do you have a LM 79 to back that up. Seems very high. If fact higher 13 cri higher then every other tube ever tested by caliper. Even higher than the fluorescent benchmarks. Look at Doe caliper 11.

    5) You claim 1500 plus lm output. Do you have a LM 79 to back that up.

  • There are several LED tubes on the market that are legitimate and have a legitimate UL classified product and yours is not from the data you have on your website and what you have here. PEOPLE Google, UL Classified LED Tube. Out of respect and fairness I won't list these companies.

  • @newteknj1 We are happy to say our UL has been in place for about 8 months now thanks!

  • @newteknj1 We DO have a UL Label on all electrical LED components we offer.

  • Love this bulb, I have been working with LED's for a while now and this new technology with the external driver is a dream come true. We've had some problems with heat on the one piece bulb & driver, but now with the external driver that is totally eliminated. Also the installation is much easier with the direct connect plug connections. Simply connect the wires to the power supply coming into the fixture and plug the other end to the bulbs. Our retro-fit install took less than 3 minutes.
