  • i usually wouldnt comment, i wouldnt even bother. but what you said almost made me scream and hollar. Jesus hated religion he hated its very core, the self righteous assholes like you who shooed away the poor, god made the law to show us or weakness, and man brought down the law to standards of meekness, god made the law to show us we needed his son, to show us what had already been done, you speak of mary as if she is to be praised, but god said let no one be raised. <--- umadfather?

  • only way you can be saved. The only way to the Father is through Jesus period. Praying to mary has nothing to do with Christainity. I pray that you and all others accept Jesus before it's to late. Catholicism is a lie from the devil, if you have never studied how catholicism was started I suggest you do so. Jesus is the only way. Tc, God Bless!!

  • Praying to mary will not get you to heaven, neither will the catholic church. If you think after someone dies you can pray their soul into heaven obviously you havent read the true inspired word of God. If you die and are a christian you go directly to heaven, if you're not a christain you go directly to hell. To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Accepting Jesus Christ as lord and Saviour and believing in your heart God raised him from the dead on the third day is the cont:

  • A priest sacrifices his life; his entire life to the obedience and service of the Catholic Church, by his own free will, and via a conduit that examines and calls one out to research all sides of history. The GOOD and the BAD of history. There is no other faith that does this, other than the Catholic faith. Why is that?

  • your video is soooo stupid. plus why are you rapping and wearing that collar?? i'd normally NOT comment on anything here but yours is sooo stupid ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THAT COLLAR SHOULD MEAN YOU KNOW BETTER BUT YOU OBVIOUSLY DONT. can you relate this to anything that boy said? you lack understanding and its disgusting cos you wear that collar.

  • @LCNallofus Apparently, you believe that "rapping" or "spoken word" is for a certain group of people only? Second, you call this stupid, because he calls you to investigate history, and that is the sort of challenge that obviously is scary to you - or just "stupid". I am wondering who lacks understanding; one who calls people to seek understanding, or someone like you who labels something "stupid" because it is a challenge. Man, even when this video is unlisted, ppl like u find it :/

  • @TheLogicalPosition your video is STUPID because ITS NOTHING RELATING TO WHAT THE GUY SAID AND SO IT HAS NO GROUNDS AS A "RESPONSE"... also your video is on as one of the related videos so i didn't 'find' it. go figure.

  • @LCNallofus Uh... can we be any more ignorant and close minded? Good grief. People like you.... ugh

  • @carson44603 oh please don't give me that crap. go watch that boys video and sincerely watch it with an 'open mind' and see if theres any need for this response.

  • @LCNallofus uh maybe I clicked reply on the wrong comment. The comment I was referring to is gone. So, my bad. I still give him some props for putting his beliefs out there. I don't agree with them in any way, but I like to hear people's opinions on religion.

  • But the point is, most religion makes you blind specially Catholics. Remember way back in the past, where priest doesn't want to reveal the Bible to people because they are scared that people would actually know that what they are preaching isn't right. I'm gonna tell you what really is religion, religion is a organization where are full of liars. Why do we have a lot of religions? Because of different beliefs on God? NO! Because of politics! WHO ARE YOU FOOLIN'?

  • @SolonDolly And the whole world is going to believe everything you just said. Why? Because you didn't invite them into learning, but rather "told em how it is". Sigh.

  • The great whore! who sits upon nations! God vomits this filth, i wish you were cold or hot, but you are lukewarm, you say we must love and accept everyone and you welcome sodomites to your systems. But your end draws near for you have forsaken god, you love more the pride of men than god. They have form of godliness but they deny the power that could make them godly, from such turn away.

  • One man shared hes opinions and got responses more than a dozen

He's sharing us he's thoughts so wazzup with the aggression

so now ur up there talking bout god,Jesus and Christianity

But b4 you made this video I know that u just watch pornography

  • @510jayreck Speak evil of people if you wish, but do not EVER speak evil of one of Jesus' holy priests. Get on your knees and beg God's forgiveness for even thinking such evil thoughts! I pray that God forgives you.

  • so you sir are pretty much proving him, the rapper that youre hating on, right. that religion does seperate us and jesus brings us together. thank you.

  • I wonder how long it took him to come up with this poem. I don't think the older priest where helping him with his rap response.:) There should be a rap battle. :)

  • just stop disrespecting a man that is changing the world in the better. And the reason that its so popular is because he raped , that is what today's generation understands. at the end of time when we stand before him, that is when we shall know him to see what HE sent to thee. to believe in him is what he wants us to achieve . he lets us choose , if your smart you would not choose the side of sin and of change by man.

  • Visit Athos and learn from the begining

    /watch?v=j0Rdk9zRZHM

  • Also, for all the christians out there seeking truth (considering Jesus is truth) - know this. The bible did indeed come from somewhere.. the bible came from the Catholic Church. They decided which books were to be in it and the pope was the last one to approve its contents. The Catholic Church is the most biblical church in the world.. and it's a religion. A religion is a set of beliefs. Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? You have a religion right there. Love you all.

  • @beccakohl omg thank you....such amazing history the catholic church has...if only people took more time and have patience to seek it out...mayb they could understand.

  • Hello my fellow lovely people! Be careful with your comments. Here's a few bible verses to keep in mind. "Remind everyone of these things, and command them in God's presence to stop fighting over words. Such arguments are useless, and they can ruin those who hear them." -2 Timothy 2:14. "But in your hearts, set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." -1 Peter 3:15.

  • Religious nuts.. holy shit indeed. I hope you people learn to think for yourselves soon.

  • @KingOfMMOs I hope you respond to the invitation to actually learn what the CC teaches. If you are going to comment on it, you should probably know what it teaches.

  • @KingOfMMOs So, you just watched this "religious nut" and commented on it. What does that say? I gotta say, this priest has guts, and he believes. That is a powerful combination. Keep up the great work, Father.

  • ok bro you have it wrong first he isnt a rap 2nd he doesnt hate laws or the church he hates the man made thing called religion and i dont blam him maybe you should rewatch his video because you have it wrong

  • I always wanted to know. How is it that the bible was written by humans who said jesus spoke to them..but yet on the news when a mom kills her kids because jesus told her to its considered insane. Just because you go to church doesnt make you holy.

  • @baseballsud4 Your last point is very valid. Regarding your first point; there is way of recognizing Christ, and way to not recognize Christ (to be deceived). The golden question is this: what standard does anyone have measure whether it is Jesus or an imposter? It's a fair question. Your proposition shows, however, that you do not understand the nature of the Christian God. Anyway, I invite you respectifully to research more on your own time.

  • What he is saying is spoken word not rapping. Also learn your history, you apparently don't know that the Catholic Church started the The Crusades where millions of people were killed. Also CC would make people pay taxes so that they could live lavish lifestyles while people who gave money were starving. Finally, no place in the Bible does it mention this whole theory of purgatory, that is also man-made, so don't come at a poet for speaking truth, cause it seems like you don't know it yourself.

  • @maperez1993 The first two crusades were in response to getting sacked by Muslim forces. Secondly, though I do not dispute what you say about taxes, you must recognize that nowhere is this contained within Catholic faith teaching, but rather was a practice put into play by corrupt leaders. Thirdly, using the Bible as the sole authority for Christianity is flawed, for the Bible didn't exist until the CC assembled it in the 300s. Ergo, Christianity would not have existed until then.

  • @maperez1993 So, I am sorry to have to break this to you, but your logic is flawed. But here is what I am going to do: a) Challenge you to learn about the crusades, b) challenge you to learn Catholic teaching, c) challenge you to learn Bible history, and d) I am going to pray for you, that you find strength to do so amongst persecution. I invite you to discover a greater depth of truth, because the truth has nothing to hide. Will you allow yourself to investigate?

  • @TheLogicalPosition you can believe whatever you want, as long as you dont touch little kids!

  • Aww yea! As a philosophy student, Christians fighting over religious dogma is like watching two (attractive) naked women wresting in a puddle of chocolate syrup. yummm.

  • @ethtri lol, they just don't make em like you anymore lol.

  • Wow... Now, the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church is talking. Yahoo!

  • @einnaecarg Actually, the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church invites you to learn about what it actually teaches and why. Are you going to accept that challenge? Or are you going to ignore this invitation?

  • @TheLogicalPosition and that's actually what I'm doing. The video "Why I hate Religion, and Love Jesus" was somekind of a blessing in disguise. When I heard it, I knew he was wrong. But I do not know exactly where he got it wrong. So I had to do my research. And thank God, you and the others made your responses. It made my research so much easier. In the end, I learned more about my faith than years of just being a catholic.

  • @einnaecarg Anytime someone is called into a higher understanding, that is a good thing. Stay on the journey. It's life-long.

  • @TheLogicalPosition Thank you. Keep up the good work. I feel like it's really about time to engage against the heresy in our generation.

  • @TheLogicalPosition I actually just baught YouCat. I don't know if you've heard about it. But I want to study the Cathechism. Wish me luck.

  • you sound like a demon to me.

  • @AndreaJRivas Then the apostles are all demons too, for the CC is the pre-Biblical Church, founded on the teachings of the Apostles, who heard it from the Man/God himself, Jesus.

  • @lychee159 of Christ read Genesis in the account of the making of man it says let US make man

  • @ckinglife really read james not by faith alone

  • wow the Christians are fighting each other now? good thing I'm an atheist.

  • Comment removed

  • it's not a religion// IT"S BETWEEN GOD AND YOU.. HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM..

NOT ANY DOCTRINE IN UR CHURCH.. or other church.. because.. ONY JESUS CAN SAVE YOU!@!! JOHN 3:16

    JESUS SAID in JOHN 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

    IT IS FINISHED~~

  • @smileyjheca18 And how do you have a relationship with Him?

  • @WARLORD1974 And if its finished why do I have to do anything at all?

  • @WARLORD1974 He will just save me and everyone else. I can live with this theolgy

  • LoL, I love it, and that's a Catholic rap !

  • u called him a rapper ? prejudice ...?

  • @ckinglife So, are you inviting people to come to a deeper understanding? Yes or No. As a Catholic, I implore you to come to a deeper understanding. Research into CC teachings. You will note that you will not get that invitation (without caveats) from any other faith. Your invitation to discover, has been given. You can turn down this invitation and remain where you are. Your growth in understanding depends on you.

  • @TheLogicalPosition And how do you stand on the invitation of understanding what this guy is really talking about? Speaking out of ignorance doesn't help anything. I don't need to come into a deeper standing of CC's teachings because I follow Christ as I am a "Christian". I find that anything to do with "earning" Salvation beyond Faith is actually Anti-Christ and I would even say that you would not know the Father or Christ for that matter. The point is its all "relational" not "doing".

  • @TheLogicalPosition Beautifully put! All we can do is offer our separated Brothers and Sisters an opportunity to learn, but it is they who must take the necessary steps to learn what the Church actually teaches. Thanks for standing up for our Mother!

  • You started by mocking him..not very nice. Marriage ends 53% in divorce in the real world, why do priest counsel people on marriage? when they have never been in a marriage and can not marry by the "rules" set forth my the Catholic Monarchy. He is NOT a church hater he believes that religion is MAN MADE, which it is. The CC is looked down upon by so many because of the years of cover up of abuse and us Catholics simply say...we have changed, there are new "rules" in place.

  • @Andycacciamani Priests counsel people on marriage for this one reason: they (if they TRULY follow Christ), understand and should live full and self-sacrifical lives. They started that when they sacrificed having a biological family. One who understands full self-sacrifical love has authority to speak on matters of love, and in a marriage, the understanding of love is critical.

  • Fr. addresses that the evil needs no invitation. However, that does not change the moral and theological teachings of the CC.Those have never been reversed, but they have developed over time, as the human species matures. As far as the years of cover-up and abuse? Apply the standard of the time, to actions of the time. How your family deals with uncle Johnny the molester, back in the day, is no different. This is abrasive, but true. I am a survivor of that & It ain't CC teaching.

  • @Andycacciamani And I would like to challenge you to find one rule that the Catholic Church has that actually drives someone to selfishness. Challenge is on.

  • @Andycacciamani And the "real world" you refer to is the large microcosm that is "the western developed world". OUR world has lost it's meaning in marriage. Of course there are various reasons, but if self is at the center of relationship, it is doomed. But the "world" does not want to disengage from selfishness, so the world is nailing its own coffin, and perpetuating brokenness. Finally, Jesus was persecuted. Ergo, his church should be also. Makes me glad to be Catholic.

  • you call him a rapper. but why are you rapping?

  • @SSMWRX11 your statement doesn't make any sense.... its like saying "you call him a dancer. but why are you dancing?"

  • nobody is led the wrong way. everyone has their own journey. no matter what you say and how you say it, people can only accept what they can. you yourself too dont know the real meaning of Jesus or religion. you just think you do with the best of your knowledge and belief. your speaking of what you believe just like he is. if you dont know what you are doing wrong it is not a sin. that is why babies are innocent for they dont know and how to make any choices. so start embracing.

  • Re:Babies:As human beings grow and develop as a species, we grow in our understanding of ourselves. True, at one point the Church believed that unbaptized babies were not saved. However, this is not a teaching of the Church with regards to faith and morals. Through the onset of the awakening of human conscientiousness, it has been enshrined(about 50 years ago now) that yes, unless a person DECIDES to turn against God, they are not committing a sin, and therefore are guilty of nothing.

  • I know that the church misinterpreted the Torah and Tanakh (the word alma does not mean virgin); there is also the oral Torah, for which Christians do not understand.

  • Listen to me , If the sun came from the west it's to late..

    It's the end..I'm muslim and I'm proud

The Bible was first wrote in Hebrew and the translation was wrong go read in Hebrew It's not the same

WHINE AND BEER is forbidden in christianity but u still drink it even Jesus never drank it

    So why do you?

    and they call yourself Christian?

I love Jesus and Moses more than you all

Cause they're Prophets/Messangers send from God.

    Peace.

  • @SuperNiceone2011 Dear Mr. Muslim. The first revelation to Muhammad, he was not sure. he relied on the witness of Khadija (ONE woman) to re-assure him of his state. Secondly, for some reason, you know HOW to read the Bible better than the Church who assembled it? Thirdly, when you live your life according to Muhammad's example, the last thing on your lips will be "Peace", at least to the kafirs.

  • Funny how the church only let the wealthy in at one time.

  • @MultiOccult Perhaps it did, but at zero point has that ever been a church teaching.

  • Catholics= HELL

  • @prophetsarereal And that is especially why I am praying for you.

  • Bottom line...the church is a business just like everything else...

Any religion i see is a business if you ask me...but that is my opinion...cuz if it wasn't we would be in card board boxes praying...instead of A/C, Lights, Musical Intraments, Microphones, Dalmatics, Chasables, Challces, Ciboriums, holy water fountains...etc...etc...etc...but he that is just my opinion...and who am i...lol...

  • @dgarcia9158228 We have to use the means of this world to help people of this world, but not become attatched to this world, such that items of this world take the place of God.

  • Thank you, kind sir. I had been debating on whether to convert to Catholicism.

I will never join your church.

  • @avidpianist Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Fr. Holowell invited you into critical thought, and you have decided to ignore the call. People left even Jesus see John Chapter 6) for his teachings were too hard to accept, so no one should be surprised that people turn from the Catholic Church. Good luck in your journey, and you have my prayers.

  • @avidpianist Watch ''the journey home-ewtn'

  • Thank you for this video!

  • I'm not sure that a rebuttal is the most effective means to counter this young man. 15 mm viewers suggest that he has hit a nerve. And knowing people who were abused by the Church, it's probably not appropriate. This is Christianity 2.0. I wouldn't dismiss it if I were you. Do you really believe that this I would call pious young man cannot come to God by his own means? How about acknowledging first that Jesus loves this man and be happy that so many people are now thinking about Christ.

  • @dianagordon6 No one method will be the "best way", however, this video rebuttal does address some points needed to be addressed. He definitely hit a nerve with many people. Coming to God by ones own means is also very different than coming to God by a means you know about, yet reject. I don't know if he has rejected the CC or not, that is between him and God. Jesus does love this man, but who is this man following, if he is ignoring the instructions given to the apostles?

  • @TheLogicalPosition The answer I think he would give you is that he is following Jesus. I sense no ill intent in his poem. It's clearly what is in his heart. He may be wrong but my sense is he is a questioning young man of decency, more than willing to concede his weaknesses. I also get the sense that this is not to do with Catholicism per se. Perhaps more the hypocrisy of the televangelists and reflexive republican evangelicalism leavened with the terrible recent issues in the CC.

  • @dianagordon6 Of course he would say he is folloing Jesus. But does that mean he is? To what standard would he have to measure how closely he is following him? I truly believe he is a questioning young man of decency too, but that he has more questions to ask. I hope he stays on that journey of asking more questions.

  • @dianagordon6 One note about the terrible recent issues within the CC; those same issues are happening all throughout protestantism, but not getting the publicity. Whatever the case, the journey of questioning is where we should all be heading.

  • @TheLogicalPosition Indeed. But the problem has been how the church dealt with them and I fear some of the abuses were more systematic. Go ask the Irish PM. As I said I don't think the CC was the main point of the poem. I guess in terms of whether we can measure how closely he is following Jesus he would start with the bible (yes collated by great Catholic scholars). As to the CC, it is also the church of the St Francis. Would he really have approved of all these extraneous trappings?

  • @dianagordon6 Considering you were dealing with human beings of those times, it would only be fair to evaluate the CC with respect to the position of intellectual society at that same time. What they did? That's the same way how your family covered up strange uncle Bobby. It is not RIGHT, but the flaw has been realized and corrected. Re: St. Francis; its a good point, and probably not. Does that nullify the faith? People give freely to the Church so that they can "build to inspire".

  • @dianagordon6 Is there misuse of $ at times? Of course. Why? Because it is run by people.

  • @TheLogicalPosition I have no doubt that there most people associated with the CC are kind, loving, thoughtful, provide support to the needy, selfless.Great works of heroism, art, maintaining knowledge through the dark ages. But I've also been amongst people who spend their entire time squabbling effectively over how many angels are on the head of a liturgical pin and thought not in Jesus' name. He liked simplicity. Earthly trappings meant nothing to him. That's the poet's point among others.

  • @dianagordon6 I like what you have to say. I wish there were more people like you here on youtube.

  • @dianagordon6 And just as many people speak towards Catholics: many people say they are following Christ, but you will be able to tell by the fruits of their endeavors. Is this man unifying the church? Or is he chiseling people down into their own personal relationship with nothing more? Again, God knows his true intent. But yes, people are talking about Jesus, and that is good. Now to look towards the apostles, who walked with him.

  • @thelogicalposition YHwH is a tentragram and YHWH not sure exactly what langague that is. Jehovah is english like YahWeh is Hebrew.

  • I am glad that the Catholic church preserved such history, but apart from that it has continued on the route to self destruction. Glorifying the creation rather than the Creator. It is an abomination. Mary is glorified to almost deity status and the Pope is taught as the Vicar of Christ on Earth? Imagine the Holy Prophets witnessing what is happening.

  • @christiskingofall On this rock, I will build my Church. Vicar of Christ - EVERY priest is a vicar of Christ - meaning, "in the place of", but NOT replacing. It is still Christ who is at the head. I invite you to further explore this topic. Secondly, you are right - in some places, Mary is glorified to a seemingly beyond reasonable way. However, look at the people doing that - are they following Christ's teaching in their daily life? Mary draws people TO her Son.

  • I see many people attacking the young Kidd because he is telling the thruth to the religion institutions. It remember me when Jesus used to confront the Farises another religious people who did not want to change at all.

  • @chegarufa10 We must remember that Jesus was a law-abiding Jew, and that he gave instructions to his apostles on how to conduct themselves as faithful followers. Although being in a relationship with Jesus at the center is PART of that, there is more.

  • @TheLogicalPosition Yes he was a law -abiding Jew but he said to his apostles in regard to the religious people do not imitate them because they like to be call teachers & Fathers they want to be seen how they fasting and they like to be sit in the guest seats.Instead be humble because your father who seems everything will notice and he will reward you.

  • and all that having a dead jesus on the center of the church is like having a pic of a dead family member in my living room, nothing personal, but thats why i preffer to go to a christian church wich at tne end is the same and i know jesus is everywhere

  • @gcorderodiaz A Christian is to seek to emulate Christ. The crucified Christ is the greatest reminder that we too, will be cricified (sometimes in a non-physical way) for following him. It relates to a willingness to suffer for him (without inviting it). We should be willing to suffer for Him, but the reminder of his gruesome death reminds us of the suffering that we need to be ready to endure. If you follow Christ, but there is no suffering, you should check what u r following.

  • Im hispanic, i was raised on catholic beliefs ..and all those symbols the saints have around them like the half moon on the virgin mary, and all other symbols that represented the worship to the sun by the egyptians and all the symbols that babylonians use to worship etc, i just find that really mind bothering that a powerful church might be hidding a lot of things....for example the cross that the pope holds is "the cruz torzida" or in english the crooked cross wich alot of satanic people use

  • @gcorderodiaz Did the Satanic people start using it after the Catholic Church? Oor did the Catholic Church use it and then the Satanic people started to use it? It is a valid question. Secondly, who taught you about the Catholic Church? It certainly sounds like you were taught by someone who has little to no foundation in the meaning of symbolism and or worship. How about this: I will invite you, on behalf of the church, to ask any question in the universe. Begin.

  • I mean't to say, Jehovah is god almighty and jesus who is mighty

  • @OoMostHighoO When you come to know the history of JW, you will see that the scriptures in their original language omitted vowels. And the letters translated to English from the original language of God was YHWH, which has become known as Jehovah (originating in the German pronunciation of those characters). I would request of you to investigate the history of your faith. Welcome to the journey of questioning.

  • You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God....why catholics slap god in the face with all the idols inside your church? why you guys have an image of jesus still dead in the cross? cause for what i know he resusitated....i would love you to answer me these simple questions....god bless

  • @gcorderodiaz My brother in Christ. You seem to be up to snuff on your Bible. So please now find in the Bible the table of contents that declares that the Bible alone is the sole authority. Please choose to investigate history, to come to realize that the apostles did not in fact have a Bible, yet those were the ones who lives as Jesus Christ instructed. As a Catholic, I find it sad that you can claim to know what a Catholic worships, when you yourself are clearly not a Catholic.

  • I think he knew what he was talking about. I as well see the problems that the Church and Religion has with one another. They judge and pick on things that are wrong in everyone else lives, but don't look at themselves. Its horrible to say, but there are Religious people that are sinning: Pride. The Religious people's pride is sicking. I thought we were suppose to be an understanding people not a harassing type. If you don't think so, then that's your own religious belief, but its true.

  • @TubaInferno There are people who are sinning all over the world, whether they are religious people or not. However, those who know a better way, are held to a higher standard of accountability. The CC teaches that pride is, in itself, a sin. Therefore to be prideful, is in no way a reflection of Catholic Church teaching. However, as you mention, this circumstance occurs nonetheless.

  • Boy the Catholics are ALL over this guy, the truth hurts sometimes, address the abuse in our church and quit hating on this guy for his thoughts and beliefs. The time you spent making this video you could have been counseling a priest who has abused in the past.

  • @Andycacciamani The Catholic Church is addressing the abuse. In fact, a priest is now permanently defrocked in the case of sexual abuse. As well, there are rigorious screening procedures in place for seminarian candidates now. Obviously, this was not the case before, and it was an open-season on the innocent, for those people unfortunatley. Also keep in mind, that those are people who have turned against the faith in their actions.

  • @Andycacciamani And also, just imagine if the entire world decided to speak for you, yet was misrepresenting you. I am sure you would agree that it is fair and just to properly clarify those points of non-clarity. The CC gets mirepresented extremely, by people who are ill-informed about the actual CC teachings, and instead rely on the actions of fallen humans. It is very sad that people think it is acceptable to measure a faith in this way.

  • This is great!! You sure do know your scriptures and I'm certain that you will definitely meet Jesus.

  • Thank you father. i go to a catholic highschool. Believe it or not, more kids are atheists and spirtual(if thats the right word...basically they agree with the hate religion but love jesus) than kids who are religious. it some what bothers me, when i made many of the same points you did, no one listened and said i had no clue what i was talking about, so i posted this on their facebook walls, i guess it takes a priest to get the point across to them. thought id let you know that :D....God bless

  • @MrTaylorSwiftFan12 Great to hear! Thanks!

  • ok so i am 13 and i am a christian and i do not like you dissing rap!! my generation loves rap so if you want more ppl to go to christ thats what draws them in!!!!!!!!!!!! just sayin

  • @sandysan1111 First, I am glad you are on your journey, and you raise a good point. People need to reach people of this world. Second, "rap" as a style of lyrical poetry is not dissed at all; in fact, he uses it himself. Maybe it would be good to question whether it is the message being challenged, rather the idea of rap being dissed. Stay on the good journey my friend.

  • @sandysan1111 I'm not dissing on rap - I'm talking about this particular guys rap that I'm responding to

  • if rap gets to the people who cares he's a follower you just lost souls man I was going to like your video but you should have left that part out

  • @favored81 Are you sure he is not commenting on the content of this other person's rap? It does not make sense that he would be dissing spoken word / rap, and at the same time doing it himself.

  • We don't pray TO Mary, we honour her as the Mother of God and we ask for her intercession.

    Sancta Maria mater Dei,

ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae.

    Amen

"Holy Mary Mother of God, PRAY FOR US SINNERS, now and at the hour of our death. Amen"

  • @TheyCallMeLowy Why would you pray to the mortal mother of Jesus? She has no power over sin, she has no power to pray over our sins, she is not devine, she is not an angel. She was just a woman caught grace in God's eyes and chose her to give birth in flesh to our divine Jesus. I in no way mean any disrespect to her I'm sure she was a great woman but the only person we should pray to is Jesus God in the flesh. Our father creator of the universe.

  • @elyanke3 If my mother died tomorrow and I spoke to her out loud and said "Mom, please pray for me, I'm really struggling right now" no one would care. If I say the same thing to Jesus' mother, everyone loses their minds!

  • @JohnHollowel u stupid moron...through ur mother's life what she did for the world.is she like mother teresa at least? and just because u pray u dint get n what u believing is wrong? btw nobody is asking u to believe because u made that choice but u have no right to say that we are doing wrong!

  • The fact that you are searching for truth underscores the reality that it does exist. This priest calls you to examine history and the teachings of the CC.It is your own decision to remain ignorant of what the Church actually teaches, after you have been given the invitation. And to call out someone who knows the truth that they have no right to correct you? You must seriously desire to remain in a state of non-growth and non-development. Would a teacher allow compounded error? NO.

  • @JohnHollowel well your mother is alive and Mary has been dead for 2000 years. I do not mean her disrespect in any way I am sure she was a great woman but the bible said to pray and ask only to Jesus and the Father. Not to commit idolatry, and making images of Mary, saints and even Jesus being crucified then praying to them is idolatry.

  • @elyanke3 When Catholics "pray to someone who is ALIVE in Heaven" (such as Mary), it refers to asking them to pray FOR us. Prayer has never been equal to worship, which is reserved for God alone. Who better to pray for you than someone who is already in relationship with God (in good standing, such as a person in Heaven)?

Praying to them WOULD be idolatry indeed, if prayer = worship. In various Protestant views, this has become "true", so I can see where you are coming from.

  • @JohnHollowel So you would tell me I'm wrong to say to my dead mother "Mom, please say a prayer for me" ???

  • @elyanke3 I agree with you that Mary isn't someone to be worship or to pray to forgive for our sins or miracles.

Jesus is a God but the Almighty God who created even Jesus.

  • @OoMostHighoO Begotten not made. Islamic scholars will agree with what you said, and call it blasphemy, for it would imply that God alone was not good enough, that he needed more, or that for God to have a Son, there would have needed to be some physical act, making God less than God. If Jesus is a god (of many gods), then he is not God, which contradicts what He said, and contradicts how the apostles lived their own lives (to willful death rather than to deny that fact).

  • @elyanke3 youre right. she chose to give birth to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Heaven waited for her answer, and she gave us the perfect example of a Christian. She not only said yes, but then on devoted her entire life to Jesus alone. Can you do that? You're right, she isn't a Saint, she is the Queen of Heaven and Earth. She has come in modern times, eg. 1917, where she came to Fatima and said: "The Heavenly Father has sent me to warn you," and also said, "My Immaculate Heart will triumph"

  • @elyanke3 Jesus, Himself said to Peter, "Build my Church", therefore not continue to forever write His Gospel. We have seen the miracles attained after He went to Heaven Body & Soul, thus we see Our Lady appear to us as a modern day prophet. You cannot see what you choose not to. If you did, you will see how dispensably in love we are to Her.She is Our Mother. Jesus Christ gave us His own Mother at Mt. Calvary when He said to John the disciple He loved: "This is your Mother"

  • @elyanke3 In my example, if my Mom died yesterday, it wouldn't matter how much less time she'd been dead than Mary. The analogy still holds. Mary, the mother of Jesus, and my Mom would both be dead in my scenario. If I asked my dead mother to pray for me, no one would care. If I asked Jesus mom to pray for me, everyone loses their mind. Btw, come on with the statue thing. Statues are doorways to prayer, we aren't praying to them. Idolatry is when you think the statue IS the deity

  • @JohnHollowel The Israelites had images that they were instructed to incorporate, BY GOD, into their liturgical experience - does that make them idol worshipers?

  • @JohnHollowel You make a good point, i understand what you are trying to say but what you forget is that Jesus and God are the only ones we should pray to. I know alot of Catholics and what they do is pray to the virgin Mary, saint peter etc when God is the only one who hears or prayers, not Mary or nay saints, Yes I believe they are in heaven but they have no power to pray for us because thats why God gave us prayer so we can ask him directly. When we pray to them it forms a middle man not good

  • Is this a priest talking or someone dressed like a ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIEST????????

  • @wajutiem08 This is an actual Catholic priest.

  • @TheLogicalPosition thanks for the reply.

  • @JohnHollowel Beautiful. God bless you in your ministry.

  • Loook at this guy talk, when you guys Praise IDOLS all day..Oh and just how your top leaders love to have sex with lil kids, yea what an awesome church you guys have.Stop hating on the christina Poet.

  • @SuperChimiro Instead of getting into an argument, all I am going to do is invite you to learn about the Catholic Church. You can say "no", but then you are showing the world that you are casting judgment without having an understanding OF the Catholic Church. No reasonable person would accept that as a sound course of action. But go ahead and do that...and continue to fear what you might discover about what the Catholic Church actually teaches.
