The bunnies in this video were filmed before we adopted them from their breeder. They did live outside with us, and were very well protected from predators and extreme weather. Having now discovered how many rabbits end up in rescues, I only adopt rescue rabbits now and have had houserabbits for the last few years.
wow i never get used to seeing buns in hutches...not that it is a bad thing i just always think they might freeze out in a hutch?? I keep my two in a six foot by three foot enclosure...cute buns too
one of my bunnies recently broke her leg and her cast was removed a week ago and the doc said it would take a while for her to recover... so today my ma called me over and i saw her binkying in her cage i felt so happy knowing she still is happy :)
but there not 5 weeks old.....they probably 7 becuase they needs to be small when they r 5 weeks old they dont have big ears so ya my r 7 weeks old and they r smaller .
my bnny did these hops like she shook her ears and hopped like diagnoly... like she looked like she was hopping foward but she switched sides lol t's cute! love ur bunny!
Thanks for looking at our video. The babies were in a large hutch with their mum (as I expect most baby rabbits are) - this clip was taken before we adopted two of them. When they lived with us, Fred and Ginger had a huge 6ft long hutch with a 12ft run attached. I can assure you they had an excellent quality of life!
wow! amazingly contented baby!!

What breed is the binky rabbit (beige one)?
shatteredxpieces 10 months ago
@shatteredxpieces She was a crossbreed - her mum was a dwarf lop cross (same colour) and her dad was a blue/grey mini lop.

@rosierabbit2004 can't be? lop bunnies have floppy ears

Wow, I never saw bunnies jumping before. When do they prefer jumping to walking?
sadgreen 11 months ago
@sadgreen They jump (or 'binky') when they are happy or excited :-)

@rosierabbit2004 Now I wish I had a bunny when I was a kid. Thanks for the share :)

Soooo cute! :) but, I usually don't support having domesticated rabbits living outside. Are they protected from predators and extreme weather?
My bunny gets full run of my office...we just put tubing over the electrical chords and put anything harmful on shelves.

the butter scotch looking one that jumped looks EXACTLY like my delilah
where do you live did you give that one away?
uberoldme 4 years ago
Hi, The bunny jumping was Ginger, who lived with us all her life. Your Delilah must have been very similar, but not the same bunny!!
rosierabbit2004 4 years ago
What kind is Ginger? I have one that is color very similar to that, and shape, however he's a mini at only 5,6 pounds.
jessi330 3 years ago
Ginger was a crossbreed - her mum was half Dutch and her dad a mini lop. Not sure what her weight was. It's nearly 4 years since we lost her now :-(
rosierabbit2004 3 years ago
so adorable! i've never seen a bun do that without a run up.
