  • after 5 minutes in notepad...

  • why would anyone want a fan like this...

  • thats Fanzilla

  • LOL Thank you for choosing Delta Airlines. We wish you a quiet and comfortable flight. Have a nice day.

  • hmmmmm delta fan+ mineral oil cooled computer+ tank= SUPER HAPPPY VORTEX OF MINERAL OIL.

  • you need a fan controller that will keep the fan at 1 volt until it gets hot then it switches it to full speed for 10 secs lol

  • system config ?

  • you canot cool down the cpu below room temp but when you OC it will keep it cooler than a normal fan

  • so this is 100dba ??

  • Is the fan behind turning by itself or is it being propelled by the blast of the delta?

  • The poor little fan at the back is hindering your overall cooling potential. Really, you should've put the delta fan on the other side of the cooler and removed the case 120mm completely.

  • I had to remove my Delta intake fans. My cat kept getting stuck to the front of my computer. =/

  • The delta extreme high rpm fans are nice but only they get super hot after awhile and so does the heatsink.

Best to use them as temp only to break world records, not recommended for long time use.

Nice fan though. Very noisy and very good.

  • that is some intence looking hardware you got there! props!

  • put ur finger in it xD

  • i use mine all the time tbh.

its your cooler thats crapy, but mine are currently in a P/P conifg.

  • @BLOBBLYBLOBBY Since when is the Hyper 212+ a crappy cooler? It's one of the highest rated on the market.

  • @uzuhl2 The cooler is actually Thermalright TRUE Copper Ultra-120 eXtreme. And yes, it was (still is IMO) one of the best heatsinks available.

  • wow

  • I've been around servers which have 11,000rpm Sanyo Denki fans- they are so loud that standing more than a few minutes in the room can be unbearable.

  • you do no that ge makes jet engines with the prefix CFM in them i think you found one of there prototypes

  • Probably cut yourself real bad with one of those at full speed. I cut my finger on one of those small orange and black fans that came with the old Thermaltake Butterfly 480w PSU that sits on top of the stock CPU heatsink. It looked like I was cut by a knife just from it smacking against my finger once...

  • You need to buff up you life insurance with these things around!!!

  • sounds like my radeon 4870 from saphire at full spin ...

  • You know, as long as my computer performs excellent, I could care less about the fan noise. Hell my PC sounds like a wind tunnel. I just don't see why people bitch about fan noise when their game sounds will drown it out.. Now an HTPC, that's different I guess. I still wouldn't care though.

  • gotta love delta

  • lol epic

  • Fuck even the back fan is going hold on your going to fast pew pew .

  • Jesus, my ears bled.

  • BUT, I LIKE IT!!!! HOW MUCH?

  • lol it sounds like a jetplane!

  • A.... X-Fi titanium very nice :)

  • Put some padding int the case and it won't be so bad, too cool of a fan to not use :)

  • These are the fans that you show to the people that say you cant get below ambient temperature with air cooling.

  • @Sysan1215

You can't get below ambient with air cooling, period. Even with a high power fan.

  • IMO, you shouldn't have kept the CPU exhaust fan in there. I think the relatively low speed of that fan would limit the air that actually gets removed from your cooler, just isn't able to keep up with the 220CFM the delta's spitting out.

  • was the fan in front causes the one in the back to spin or is that powered cause if it's not than man that fan is powerful lol plz tell me whats what

  • Casefan is PWNED

  • So, does it run at full speed constantly? Doesn't it adjust the fan speed itself?

  • U got TRUE Copper there?

  • that thing even makes the case fan go faster

  • The exhaust fan is acutally spinning faster than normal lol

  • such a satisfying sound :3

  • You just need to have big heatsink, otherwise more air is good for nothing...

  • What are your cpu temps.?

  • its not logical to use those for ram ,more logical to use those for air intake or for the cpu,i would really like to have those on my laptop cooler thought ,thought i couldnt get my hands on one.........

  • i have some of those types of fans fucking noisy as hell but lots of airflow ! nice !

  • I undervolt my Deltas (using a Lamptron FC3 controller) and they're damn near silent. Four of them on the case and one on the CPU means that I can turn them all to full throttle in emergencies, but they more than do the job at lower voltages.

  • When the fan start up

    it make a funny noise

  • what are your temps?

  • Do not try put your finger in it children ;)

  • Souds like a vaccum-cleaner!

  • thats why mosdt people with deltas run them only at a fraction of their rated voltage. and don't plug em straight into your mobo, cause they can burn out your mobo by sucking too much power. this delta fan can power on at 3v I think, but I run my delta fan at 5v

  • What GPUs are those?

  • fail

  • On idle, they don't really sound loud... but on load... WHOOOOOM.

  • the must be bolted to the ground

  • i seriously hope u do not have that as your permanent set up......that would be.....annoying.

  • OK uston we going to start the plane XDD

  • Fucking loud.

  • I'm a little concerned about your RAM flying into the fan.

  • Comment removed

  • lmfao

  • @TheGeek1028 LLOOLL!!!!!!

  • @TheGeek1028 hahaaha

  • attention passagers, we are now ready to begin our flight, thanks for choosing us as your air lines. :D

  • @suckseggs: Shouldn't that be, "thank you for choosing Delta fan airlines"?

  • @AgentNate009 lol yeah but that was posted 6 months ago

  • perfect for cooling a mini itx PC

  • Ima buy 12 of these for my computer...no joking, I think computer would fly around room and break something :S These mofo's are about $49 each here in Australia :S

  • i want five for my bike :P

  • all that noise for maybe 1-2C decrease.

  • youre damn dumb mostly 120 mm fans makes 2000 rpm these deltas make twice as much 4500 rpm .. it really cools your cpu

  • it wont cool the cpu but it will take away the heat from the heatsink like that one... but its very loud so maybe have that computer in a other room? XD

  • more like 4-8C.

  • actually its like a 10 deg difference

  • My personal experience was 3-4C. That's why I didn't keep the fan there 24/7. Really doesn't justify the cost/noise/cooling ratio.

  • have you noticed there is a point at which it doesn't matter how much air you blast at it.... its not getting any colder?

I guess its just because of the rooms ambient tempature or something like that.

but 5,400rpm and 7,200rpm on my cpu fan doesn't really make a difference.

Lian li makes a high voltage pot controller for fans just like that btw. think its like 25$ a pop. but well worth it if you have some tornados inside like i do and don't want to listen to the blow dryer.

  • @Warkhan lol pussy. I run three of these on a triple rad 24/7. LOVE THE POWER.

  • @Warkhan

Ofc, because the fan behind it is the issue.

  • @Warkhan It does, when used as case fans in crazy setups like 3x GTX 580. Two intake/two exhaust of those babies and your computer can lift off.. :D

  • @bottle2lip Never worked with really big servers?

  • @bottle2lip put that fan on a watercooled radiator then we`l see.

mine is a delta 253 cfm and the other is a 208 cfm papst.

  • ftw cooling m8 !!

  • copper TRUE? isnt it dangerous to have it like that because the heavy ass cooler can arch the board?

  • potentially, yes... don't purchase a cheap motherboard, get a high end motherboard that's thick and not paper thin like some 40 dollar budget board. Then you'll be fine. I doubt anyone who buys one of these would have a cheapo mobo anyways.

  • Vacuum cleaner!!!!!

  • rafl the delta fan puches so much air that the fan behind it runs faster ;')

  • if you look closely @ 0:16 you can see the cpu getting sucked off of the motherboard xD

  • shit dude!

that would be awesome for a lan party!

deafen everyone without noise cancelling headphones!

  • Did you overclock on this? If so how much more than origional, and do you have the temperatures for both?

  • Comment removed

  • No I didn't oc this because of the noise. It's not a suitable 24/7 setup. I can easily oc my q6700 to 3ghz with a low noise s-flex fan.

  • nice setup you got there. You just may beat out most WC'ing systems with your True + GHE. lol

  • Did you ran 6h of prime and that was the noise level? O.o

  • LoL! Yes, but I wasn't at home all the time.

  • I looked your thread on xs and I saw that you have 150gb raptor for page file??!??!?!?!?!? are crazy? you dont need 150gb page file..

  • I'm only using 12gb for the page file. the rest is for storage. I used to have 4 raptors then sold 3 of them after I ugraded to velociraptors. I kept one because I didn't want to purchase another HD to put the page file. I know it's a HUGE overkill but again I'm not using all of it for page file.

  • I think I might be deaf now.
