I have a couple questions because im getting both my Tonsils and my Adnoids taken out and I was wandering how soar do you think the pain will last and do you think I should have it done if they are almost blocking my air ways 100%? (I've never breathed through my nose before in my life) :S
Yes,i do advise u to do the surgery but you need to consult an ENT professor,but your chronic mouth breathing is a major problem with lots of complications,it can leed to dryness of mouth with recurrent gingival and chest infection, moreover snoring and obsturctive sleep apnea with recurrent sinusitis,on the long run you'll start to get what is known as "adenoid facies" with facial skelton anomalies,and it can also be complicated by middle ear infections
A new study out of Canada states delaying vaccines by 2months will reduce getting allergies/asthma by 50%. Harvard stated that 1 round of antibiotics before the age 2 would increase allergies/asthma by 50%. The NIH stated that there are 88K chemicals in the enviro that weren't there 20 yrs ago. FDA approved 10K chemicals to be on food, only 100 were tested. Our kids are being assaulted from every direction. Give kids pharm grade multi vitamins, probiotics,fish oil & C at minimum. Do no harm!
Adenotonsil hypertrophic disease is a symptom. What attacked the body to make the lymphatic system enlarge? Do physicians ever check or do anything to boost the immune system? Are glutathione levels checked, etc? Doing a partial tonsillectomy isn't ethical, it is disease management or symptom suppression. I bet those kids have had other autoimmune disorders that have been overlooked such as ear infections, allergies, gi issues. Read Kenneth Bock, MD "Healing the new childhood epidemics".
I got mine out and it was terrible and I slept all day everyday and couldnt eat and forced myself to drink and when I talk it sounds so strange

i have my tonsils and adenoids removed yday.. not as sore as people were making in out to be b4 hand.. it was sore doh dont get me wrong..
