a couple of things are worth mentioning.

1. Jumping Back Punch into Air Force ball is very nice and often sets you up for an uppercut when know when to use it.

2. any time i knock goro down, i do a ground smash.

combo works great.

I beat the mission a different way. I just jump towards Goro and pressed the triangle button and then an uppercut. You also have to watch his movements. I played it one time where I made it through the first Goro without taking any hits from him.

2, 2 into lift doesn't seem to combo anymore, the best I've been able to find is back 1, 1 into lift which is still okay but doesn't do nearly as much damage.

I think the changes made after the numerous updates have made a lot of these strategies obsolete. You can't link certain moves anymore and the AI seems to have improved.

There's another way thumbs up so he can see this.if you let him beat you like six or seven times his difficulty goes down and down with all of them. But don't pause and restart but when the little screen pops up then you hit retry. It works for me and it also works for chllenge 300

Just failed this challenge for I know the 100th time

I've seen lots of great strategies here on YouTube for beating this thing, just haven't had much luck implementing them myself. My Goros are apparently much smarter than everybody else's lol

@jcm433 Yea the challenges are plain ridiculous. I finally did it after 6 tries. My method, spam uppercuts. When he starts blocking jump over him and keep spamming uppercuts. If you're lucky you can get off a few combos, and an x-ray. I'm on challenge 300 now, but the game has pretty much taken all my patience so to stop myself from having to buy a new controller i'll just skip it lol. Good luck XD

I could do the move where you lift him in thr air, but i could never land the teleport move. When he falls down i could do the port move but i could never land the teleprt after he flys up.am i suppose to kick then teleport? I tried that and he falls down to fast. Plese help, thank you :). @MrYumYumJR: Thanks for watching and subbing my friend. Sorry for the delay; you have to kick with Circle/B before doing the teleport. You have to be super fast on the inputs; I have a modified version of the combo on my channel (just has super instead of normal moves) which may help you with the timing. Let me know how it goes. Also, I tried it out today and the combo still works.

I did somethign that was Simpler. I just constantly did the Telekinetic Slam and Telekinetic toss, then added a few projectile attacks (needs to be timed though) and when ever he did the ground pounds I would just upper cut and use the telekinetic slam and toss when there was a good enough opening

Figured I should ask you as well:

I've been having a bit of trouble, every time I finish the two initial punches, I try for the force lift, but Ermac never executes it, it's odd. In practice mode, it shows the down back front-punch required for the move (ame with the Air teleport. I do the jump kick, and the motion for the move ,down back back-kick, but nothing works.) Am I doing it too fast? Is there a specific pace at which to do it or do you just press as fast as possible?

Yes I did it. But I found an much easier way to do it with-out using no special moves...1:17 Just keep doing that basic kick move in the air.

Here's the best way to do it (took me three tries):

1. Jump in the air and do force port

2. Do combo Mysterious Mash.

In step 2, he will mostly block all of your attacks except the last which is a kick that will knock him away. Once he's knocked away and stands back up. repeat steps 1 and 2 until you defeat them all. Forewarning: watch out for their X-ray, and their rolling pummel attack.

Seriously, three tries is all it took me. Hope it helps.

One thing i think is possibly the most stupidest thing in games.. Is when a character simply smacks the flaw in a tantrum and somehow causes the most deadliest pain imaginable.

I dont mind if goro hit the floor which sent like, a rubbled shockwave towards the character, but simply stamping your foot is the most stupidest fucking thing ever.

Love the game, but the little invincible things that the bosses get, there kind of unfair and choose to be used just when your about to execute somethin

I did it just with uppercuts. All u need to master is jumping in the verry last moment. Just move forward to Goro and jump foward when u allmost thouch him. In air click triangle (or Y) and then if he attacked standing just uppercut him and move towards him and jump again in the last second - sux i cant make an movie for YT to show. This way is much easier for peaople who sux with combos :)

I found an easy way on 281, it's pretty cheap but who cares?

Anyway:

Step 1: Stay as far as Kitana as possible, preferably get yourself into a corner

Step2: Spam Mileena's sai throw attack (Back - Forward - Front Punch)

Step 3: When Kitana does her "Flying torwards you in the air" -attack, she should land right next to you if you're far enough

Step 4: Back Grab her when she lands (DO NOT FRONT GRAB)

Step 5: Repeat

I finished the challenge with a couple of tries using this tactic

I've also found that they're really vulnerable to jumping force ports. If you air force port them, it should give you enough time to also uppercut.

@OriginalGrog: You can beat it for sure. Stay far away from him if you have to till he makes a move, then catch him right after he misses. If you have trouble with the combo, practice it a bit before doing the challenge, or cut some of it to do a combo easier for you.

I fucking hate this encounter. I've been at it for three fucking hours and I'm not closer to beating it. I'm doing a similar combo to the one shown in the vid but the final goro still refuses to be picked up by telekinesis. Just. Plain. Fucking. REFUSES. I'm at my wits end on this challenge. It's ridiculous the amount of absorbed hit Goro takes before he turns around and pastes my ass across the floor a split second later. God damn it!

@SuperJanet74: Story Mode, you can play through on any difficulty and get the same amount of Koins. The Koin reward is crazy, 10,000 for finishing some of the later chapters, thats the same Koin reward for the last challenge in the tower; its insane.

Once again thanks! I thought this fight would have been easier than the one with Shao Kahn but I got stumped for almost two hours on it.

I had a similar combo to this but I was doing LP,HP,LP (then the rest was the same) but that extra hit is not worth it. Goro blocks it and starts spamming his spin attack. So thanks to this I was able to modify and win

Nice save at the end! That literally happened to me, third Goro gets pissed real easily, either that or I started getting to nervous haha.
