Really Awesome playing! Nice guitar... I've got a Maton Performer (808bg) A little slimer body, cutaway. Excellent electronics in the Ap5. I've just bought a Larrivee L03 BW (blackwood) love it... the sound is awesome! Still like my Maton too!

Hey pal, i've been searching for deciding between taylors, gibsons, martins...but ur maton realie won me over! Can u help me decide if i should get the maton808te that you're having or should i get the TE-1 dreadnought? i mostly play jazz blues, blues, pop, and alot of strumming and flat picking..i realie like the woody tone of maton! respond soon!!

TE-1 has very big sound , deeper maybe.... but for fingerstyle i prefer 808. so both guitars are amazing !

i reckon just get anything that sounds good to you. cause lyk tou can find teh model and everything, but normally at git shops they dnt really go by model. just normally they say, just have a play and see. so its really up to you cause ppl can have differnet oppinions on a guitar.

While it is a mighty good sounding guitar, it doesn't make the man. Fast isn't always better. I love the ability to make sound have feeling and, if there were one thing Chet would like about your noting, it is that each note is dead on. Lots of folks can whack at it, but slow playing hides no errors.

I am incredibly in love with matons. id love a TE1 or a BG808TE. Have you played both? which would u prefer?

I have never played on TE 1 but i know that has very deep sound, bigger than 808.

My style is much similar to yours (but at a lower level of course). Does the deep sound work well for Tommy's songs or for other compositions by artists such as Chet Atkins, or perhaps Don Ross?

Hey man! This is one of the best acoustics ever, I aslo play Chet's music, in other tunings it aslo works very nice. Action is very low . The guitar is so soft to play.

Hey man! This is one of the greatest guitars ever. Its very comfort. ther action on my is 1mm on 12 fret( first string). It has MIC and pickup under a saddle

Thank Pasha...I'm founding for a new acoustic guitar, LARRIVVE, MARTIN and Ovation are a great guitar, but I think the MATON GUITAR rules!!! The price and the quality are competitive, and I think must buy it now, 'couse if a lot of guitarist discover thise guitar, the request for it would can to low the quality standard of production. Yep the ebg808, apmic pickup system, chrome grover machine heads, 'c.g.p.' 12th fret inlay (certified guitar player) qld maple neck, solid qld maple back and sides, walnut headstock. I get the pleasure of making these everyday =) If anyone has any questions about Maton dont hesitate to ask!

I would only say, not as a criticism but more like style of playing that, the introduction section sounds a bit too long. Or maybe if the main section was quicker so that one can notice a nice jump in tempo between the two sections.
